Just avoid romancing Triss guys if that bothers you that much, no breaking book lore, no cheesy dialogues, etc, etc, worked for me so far

Yen have already a dialogue before final battle, Triss not.
Well, I don't think that a direct page link is really helpful here, since we all have different versions of the books, depending on our native languages...
But I very much agree with you that the ending of The Lady of the Lake is as close to perfection as it could get. I couldn't image any better end for this tale.

The Yen dialogue before the final battle is about retiring somewhere, Triss already has an equivalent - the water divination in Novigrad.

I honestly think Triss never had a chance in TW3, at least not for me...
