So what are you hoping to see in the Yennefer trailer?
I want to get an idea on how much of an active role in the game she will have. Otherwise it seems suspicious to have a trailer dedicated to an NPC no matter how much of a fan favorite she is. She might play a part game play wise not necessarily as a playable character but as something like a companion maybe?

Yeah, I too doubt she will be a playable character, unless the sequence would be just walking around and talking to other characters. Her "fighting style" differs way too much than that of Geralt. It involves forks and much stabbing. Surprisingly useful underwater by the way.
I'm expecting somewhat of an introduction to the character. Who she is, why she is so important and so on.
I think she will have a very active role in the game story wise, but a much less active one gameplay wise. Maybe something similar to the role Roche or Triss had in TW2.
I don't think she would have a typical companion role though. Her character suggests that she goes pretty much wherever she wants, and I doubt she'd want to follow Geralt around for too long.

The initial version we got in the Sword of Destiny trailer looked too young and - even worse - too generic.
She needs to have this air of dignity around her, but at the same time come across as very temperamental.
You know, shards of ice around a fire.
They said a similar thing about Ciri, IIRC.
When asked they responded the quest/search for her will only be the very beginning of the game.
Considering that players new to the Witcher have a lot to learn about those characters,
it makes perfect sense to meet them early on.
Also, if Ciri's safety is at stake you can be sure that Yennefer sticks around.

She is supposedly born in 1173 on Belleteyn.
The Witcher 3 takes place in 1274, which makes Yennefer almost a hundred years old,
so asking for a certain degree of maturity in her is absolutely legit.
I could see a trailer that focuses on what she has been up to during her time leading up to Witcher 3. Something that will give us clues as to whether she has regained any of her memories or not. Or perhaps a glimpse of her and Geralt confronting each other for the first time since the Wild Hunt caused their problems.
Also, I kinda wonder if they will update her model more with the fan feedback and the cosplayer's looks (which seemed more in line with what people expected). Kinda like what they did with the update for Elizabeth's model in Bioshock Infinite with the influence of her cosplayer. I think a lot of this depends on how complete the CG movie is (if that was her in it). If she is in it and it was done, that's a lot of money to go back and update it. If it wasn't, then they may have waited until they got feedback on the Sword of Destiny trailer since you never did actually see her face in the raven segment (again, if that was Yen).
I do think they will reveal more around Ciri and Yen, more of a setup trailer without revealing too many details. It's all speculation at this point, but I am very excited for it.
Well, she is a sorceress.Damn.. she looks hot for 100 years old.
Like other sorceresses she uses magic to conceal signs of her age,
but even magic can't conceal a life experience of a hundred years.
I don't know, I can only ask a good trailer for one of my favourite characters. Maybe a presentation of a strong-willed woman, magic, and a lot of kicked asses.

If you compare the wikipages about Yennefer, the unofficial is even slightly more infomative. For the rest it's exactly the same, so why does it matter?

It may happen that some page needs more info in it, so the only thing to do is updating the page. And there's no problem.
This doesn't mean that all the pages contain less information than the old one.

I don't want her to change. Raven black hair is okay of course, but no change of the model. I like her like she is.
I just want to see a acting and fighting Yennefer. Hear her voice, see her body language, but please, no story content.
