From information I have gathered in 70s 80s kung fu was popular in USA. Seems like open schools were mostly present in west coast area SFO etc.
And there I think it helds if not spreads.
Later on Europeans got interested and in US was decline.
Hard to judge how much is needed to carry the style and how many are capable of that, it takes a lot of time. Even me doing basics it is 1,5-2 hour a day
and yes I cannot afford that every single day.

Who thinks he's funny and all but as often as he's right about that he is also wrong. Competent in many fields but not really expert in most of them. A jack of all trades. Good at reading people for who they really are,terrible at telling them what to do. Wouldn't give a fuck what people say to him. Shoots straight if need be but is more comfortable at hand to hand approach. But probably wouldn't hurt a fly.
