... you find a medallion at a statue and immediately starts searching for a lumberjack.... you break into area 51 in search of meteorite stone to upgrade your steel sword.... you think you have to resolve every hostage situation that might occur in your local bank.... you try to brew your own coca cola because you don't have any coins to buy one.... you throw out your visa card because you think it was a one-time-quest-item.... you walk into a bar and ask for their fistfight champion.... you think every woman has a sex-card, and that you alone can unlock them.... a trip to the cemetary makes you bring a silver sword.... you make these sentenses.(I didn't read all of the previous posts, I'm sorry if any of the ones I have mentioned here have been created already!)

Sorry, this one's a little North American specific:When you go to your local Dairy Queen® to order a Blizzard®, but the world around you doesn't slow down one bit.

A few more for you all to enjoy:... you camp out in your local forest in hope of getting a new trophy from a defeated monster.... you call the local police chief a werewolf.... red dots appear after you have had two drinks.... you visit crypts to kill undead.... you think all gardeners have been mercenaries in the past.... you win the main prize, a house, in a gameshow and says: "Bollocks! A house has no use or value, I should have lost the last round to get something useful !"Cherio!

That's really funny, because spending a considerable part of your time playing games might be seen as crazy. Most of the people I know don't play gamesor gave up. Partly because good games like the Witcher are rare.I finished the game twice and loaded for the neutral path. Second run saw all but a few quests completed. The game was really easy from the combat point of view: no noob  You can't do much more about this game. If you know of anything else, tell me.

Hmm.. I know, once you say "I like computer games" you're immediately in the Counter Strike corner from their point of view... sometimes it's better to keep quiet about it.But anyway, when I get a good game it's just the same as with a good book. I just can't stop until I'm finished, and if that means no daylight for a week (unless I'm forced to).

Sadly, the Witcher is the only game I have truly appreciated in 3 years, after KOTOR2. Please tell if you know of any other great game, I need to know :)

I've spent way too much time of my life playing Neverwinter Nights. Bad addiction. Still the first one, mostly multiplayer. Of course I also played NWN2, which I didn't like that much (but opinions differ). The first expansion for it seems to be really good, at least they worked on the atmosphere and came up with wonderful music (the first score I can listen to outside of a game).... but never finished it, the Witcher came in between. Now, if you liked KOTOR2, you might like NWN2, or if you like it more modern - Mass Effect is the next one on my list, I'm really looking forward for the release of the PC version in May.But generally, I buy one game a year or so, better one game which lasts long than shedding out hundreds of € for 8 hour shorties.

I played the NWN2 expansion, it was quite good at the start but I got bored of it after raching the academy. It doesn't have to be an RPG...

I knew I had played way too much Witcher, when they came to clean the office the other day. They had two bottles of cleaner one blue and one pink/reddish. The first thing I thought was: ' Swallow and Tanwy Owl'

It could prove dangerous: he knows they are toxic, which they are, but then again swallow and tawny owl are toxic too. Quite hard to make the difference ???

You know you play "The Witcher" too much when.... ...you answer the phone with "greetings" and always end a conversation with "farewell". (I've done that a few times LOL)...you repeatedly do the Igni sign in hopes of getting a fire going in your fireplace.

LOL! ;DI know what you mean with the "greetings" thing; when I was playing Oblivion I started answering the phone with "Well met!" to the confusion of my friends.

lol. This makes you sound like you knew that everyone was hanging on the edge of their seat waiting for your return. Not saying it's what you were trying to do, but the way you worded it made me giggle.Anyways:You know you play The Witcher too much when you randomly push little kids and adults to the side when walking down the street thinking they won't do anything about it.

Ups! I did so even before playing The Witcher... ::) Kidding! Though I've been thinking of doing so many many many times before! ]:->... you see a cute girl and ask yourself how her character card might look like! - and you may have to do to get it... ;D... you ask the waiter if he takes 'Orens' as well!... you don't do anything without the promise of at least 100 Orens or the equivalent in Novigradian Crowns.
