I have problems with the nerves in my right arm, so I use a trackball. I played so much I lost the feeling in my thumb and some of my fingers. Thankfully I finished the game so I can let my nerves recover until the EE comes out. ;)

Does your health insurance cover that? ;)

OMG you have RSI!!! And still play in the condition of nerve damage, I'll believe you if it was muscle or tendons, but NERVES!!! You are insane. Try subscribing to the SOREHAND MAIL LIST, its a group of people form around the world with RSI problems.

Marvelous piece of work  I go green with envy. Would you please tell us how much did you pay for it? Did you get a special price from your jewelier friend or was it a normal handcrafting price? I mean, just for info

I'm glad to see I'm not the only crazy one.I however wear a "Barbossa" medallion. It is only Pewter and mass produced. And that would have to go into another topic titled, "You know you play POTC too much when ..."

I bartered a website for the medallion, a battle ready signed and numbered handforged bastard sword, three sets of pearl earrings, and some assorted jewelry and chainmail repair. Yes, it was a special friends price, but it worked out about even, because I gave them a "friends" price on the website. it was, for the record, about $200 in materials, for the medallion. ;Clarification: the (sizable) website was traded for the medallion (including materials costs), sword, earrings, and chainmail repair. I realized looking back that my sentence was rather mangled and unclear.

Well, I've tested my medallion during game play. for the record: Geralt's works fine. Mine still doesn't detect anything. Not kikimores, not drowners, not approaching bosses ...whether workplace bosses or boss battle bosses, doesn't matter. Nothing is getting detected. There's a Wiccan at work, but so far it has not "detected" her either. Not sure whether that is because she isnt working magic at the time and it only detects active magic, or what. Maybe I'll wander around the Occult books section at Borders and see if it detects anything or anybody. Also, I will test it further: we have some wetlands and bogs in the local MetroParks. (I also have a fairly wet spot in my backyard, from all the rain). I will visit these areas, and see if any drowners or drowned dead, or other monsters get detected. (Like that Bloedzucker or whatever its called). I will let you know in here how the medallion reacts. I'm wondering also if I somehow need to level up my skills, for it to work better.....Um..... is this maybe a sign that I play "The Witcher" too much???

Maybe you aren't magically gifted enough to receive the signals from your medallion?

Dont know, i never finished the game.... after almost 10 months of owning it lol.Not that i dont like it tho, in fact, it is the problem, i loved it so much that i started to help other with tech issues the first day i got the game, since that day, i've been spending 99% of my free time doing tech support so others can play this awesome game and moderating the forum here :) I am just waiting for the day the internet will go boom so i can play :)

Uber Bump :p You know you've played too much Witcher when you're walking down the High Street and randomly shout out: " HONOUR ! " at the top of your voice. ( Guess which act I just finished ::) )

... I know what you mean. I don't know which language version you have but the "honour!" calls in German sound really strange.

Well, you should definitely be worried when the game starts becoming a part of your life instead of staying on the 'puter...
