Your favorite idea to make combat feel more dynamic and futuristic

While shooting gang and militech punks through walls and frying their brains with hacks is fun, I'd love to see variables introduced into the combat system to make it feel even more varied and chaotic.

I think my favorite change would be to introduce the vertical walls of all the tall buildings and environments as walkable or scalable surface for both V and the enemies so that they can take advantage of the world's verticality as a complete battleground, not just on horizontal surfaces.

I know destructible environments was another favorite, but verticality seems the one with most interesting dynamic potential.

What would be your favorite change/ addition in this regard when it comes to the combat?

This is NOT a thread about balance or ai, just about features that would make the combat feel more next gen.
