I never was interested in playing RPG's until I happened upon Witcher 1 in a K-Mart. I was drawn to it like a tractor beam was on me. Since then I have been hooked like a giant tuna. I like the way that you can customize it to your skill level. I have played the first one 5 times and the second one 6. Each time forcing myself to make different choices to see what the outcome would be. Which if you are like me and always on the side of the underdog is difficult. My favorite and somewhat funny things is that I can go robbin and a stealin inside strange peoples homes and they do nothing about it. I find that very funny.
I have since read every book that have been translated to English that I can get my hands on. I eagerly await the rest of the series to be translated and released. If I had to pick any characters or scenes that stand out in either game would be very difficult for me. I am just glad that I have been exposed to the Witcher. CDP Red has a fan for life, and if they ever open a US office sign me up and put me to work.
Thank You CDP Red, for giving me an interesting RPG to play. Hours of joy you have given me,

Since I'm working on getting through the first game...The moment Geralt can take out seven+ people without dying, because I made a good choice on a level up (Blue meteor sword helped as well).

When I decided to kill prize winning cow in order to get a new better sword and game just gave me that shitty one. I wasn´t even mad because game punished me for beign greedy instead of making right choice, I felt like "ok, 1:0 for you game".

epic loot-getting ravens armor
best quest-Odrin (evetything has been mentioned already)
most beautiful moment-Seherim holding Moril´s child and waving at Geralt
hollywood action award-Geralt and Roche invading Kaedweni camp in Loc Muinne

My favourite moment in Witcher 2 was when i played like King Henselt.
Man i felt so important then. Having a casual walk with my entourage and all those soldiers kneeling and cheering my name...
Made me feel so kingly!

Finally not dying during the fight in the Salamandra Base in the barricaded part of the Trade Quarter ~ for the dozenth time in a row using FCR1.6a... I still think this is the hardest fight in the Witcher, by a long shot... you aren't as developed as in the later "hard fights", and the combination of four Commanders, a Mage and if you mess up just a little bit, an Ifrit is a tough fight alone.
After several playthroughs this is still a stumbling point, which is passed only with some trouble. Very satisfying when the timings and sign usage works out eventually though, with a real sense of accomplishment.

Witcher 2
1. The first and final fight with Letho , the mechanics and dinamics of the fight is pure epic. In the 1 fight Letho theched me how to fight. And in the second I pove what I became .
2.The part from final fight with Letho ,where he says to Geralt that : "The cub has teeth". And gerald replyes that :"...and sharp ones..."
3.And the part where Gerald is attacked by assasins in the tent , I mean the whole scene.
IN general the witcher and the witcher 2 was my favourite gaming moments .

Not really epic or emotional moments, but they still make me smile.

From a memorable interrogation in a memorable prologue

"What would you do if you escaped?"
"I'd go have a beer."
"Are you trying to annoy me?
"Vernon, if I escaped, you'd be the last to learn my plans."
"Let me tell you a story."
"I hate stories."

* * *

"Demavend is dead."
"Is that true?"
"He was murdered."
"Ah. I did that too?"
"You were in Vizima at the time. I checked."
"My doppleganger was in Vizima. I have three of them."

Beyond being funny, Geralt has more character here in just a few seconds than many protagonists throughout most of their games - and what a character, at that! Someone later in the game defined it pretty well:

You've got cheek, Geralt!

I had a stupid grin plastered over my face as Geralt suddenly threw in a punch to the left, unsheathed his sword to cut the ambassador at his shin, and follow through to press the blade to his throat and hold him hostage, all in just two seconds. And finishing it up by saying "Uh-uh, lower your sword, son." Hah! What a boss. It's also a moment that reminds you that Geralt is actually an old nut, too. Shilard summarizes it all so well with that line.

Russian Troll

"No."
"No what?"
"No passage. Give vodka, you passage."

This scene made me laugh. Troll just appears suddenly behind you, with no cinematic to show him arrive, and he just goes "No."

And lastly,
Dragon Attack

"Damn, I've seen assaults go awry, but the dragon topples them all."
"Tops."
"Tops what?"
"Well... tops all."
"Damn nonsense!"

Aaand...

"Mergiold, stop admiring it and do something!"
"It's not that simple!"
"Before the brute turns my army to cinders!"

It's just not the same writing it down, though. I love Foltest's and Vernon's voice actors.

1. When I first started Witcher. The game got me completely and then I finished the game about five times.

2. I hated the old woman who threw me from Shani´s house when I was drunk. Then I was very amused by this cutscene. : D

Well already posted some good moments :p

But i recommend you the following, start TW1, load a save from Act 4 and go to the corn fields.

Just stand there for a minute or two. Ladys and gentlemen i did that, i still can almost feel the heat of the summer at those cornfields.
*sighs*

;)
