But , since my point of view, I have dream ever with have one game from open world and that has a combat system: Speed, agile, depth , dinamic and all this in a open world game or arpg. After played game like oblivion , skyrim, those game have a combat system very poor but, just think, the witcher 3 combat pufffff, is very impressive.......

Can play the game , where, learn the mecanic of this combat and can play many hours . I know , that it can look be a crazy but I am very happy and I will play to this game happy , because my DREAM HAS BEEN complete. jajajajaja eskerrik asko(thank you in basque)

Certanly , I am not fan of the strategy games and rol game with a combat system that has turns.

Thank you cd project

According to this interview the game is designed so that even a "total noob" can beat it without problems. (-> 4:50)

This basically means that the game was made to be very accessible, even to mainstream players and newcomers
and that picking the right difficulty at the start of the game will be very important for us to enjoy it.

I already know that I'll pick the hardest difficulty.
I want a challenge and to feel accomplishment when I kill a monster.

From the way this all sounds, "normal" difficulty ain't gonna do it~

I wouldn't worry it will be just like Easy was in TW2...Easy is really Easy but from Normal up its decent difficulty :D

Yes, it has been cut out because it would be too costly and difficult.

I think it was removed because it didn't make much sense.
I don't imaging the combat to pause, so that I can target the leg or the throat of an enemy, it just doesn't make sense.

I want that the combat is developed for hardcore players, not for the noobs. Accessibility isn't always a good feature.

In the very beginning Normal was not so easy, after the patches it was only Dark Mode for me. :)
I guess in TW3 I'll be starting on hard from the get go. :)

Considering that 'Normal' and sometimes even 'Hard' has become the new 'Easy' over the last couple years this might actually be the most sensible thing to do.

TW2 taught me to take any and all claims about game difficulty with a grain of salt.

I didn't care for this kind of choppiness:

But if they can make this look buttery smooth and fluid, then I'll be a happy camper. ;D I should also say that the combat looked a lot smoother in the swamp demo.

The possibility to use a close up camera angle during combat would also be really cool!

I would also like to say though, that even if they don't change anything from the demo, I still think the game will be the best ever!

For me its just the way it should be in Witcher 2 but here its reached required level. Really dynamic, fast combat with parrying, piruets, dodging and not cutscene ,but in combat finishers. All of thats looks just awesome. I cant wait to see how group finishers. special attacks , skills(WATS system that was told before) and level combos will work

They should improve animations in combat. I would like to see pirouettes of the book series.

I believe they're in, just not shown yet.
If I recall correctly from one of the recent interviews they are one of the two ways (together with the dashing move) you can evade during combat.

There were pirouettes in of the demos. Sadly that dashing looks horrible as I mentioned before. Even constant rolling looked better. :(

My feeling was that the individual animations were OK, but the transitions were choppy. Which can hopefully still be tweaked.

Mh, might have missed them then.
I actually find the dashing move to make more sense in regards to Geralt's cat-like, lightning-fast reflexes, whereas the evade-roll does not necessarily.
And it looks alright to me. Might look even better in the release version.

To me the combat looked not much different from Witcher 2; meaning it looks frantic, messy and lightweight (as in lacking punch).

I still think they should stop for a moment to rethink about the pacing and how much weight the actions inside combat carry. Make it actually tactical in the sense of deciding which actions to take (or attempt, since they can fail - or at least they should) rather than how it appears to be more of the same controller porn as previously.

I'm wondering if there'll still be the TW1 pause and target function. It'd be a nice way to appeal to more gamers and I'd probably use it myself. I used to bring up the radial menu in TW2 when things got hectic. Helped me organize my plan of attack.

From the looks of it the radial menu now pauses the game insted of slowing it down, but I doubt we will get an actual pause function.

By the way, do you think there will be a radial menu as well when you play with keyboard and mouse?

Got what I wanted in, lock on, circle and back up while facing the foe, as well as not so much rolling. That's all it needed for me, as I found Assassins combat system fairly good. So long as it's not like Arkham where you can play and win by just mashing the two buttons, like that kid in the old youtube video does.

Edit: Oh did I not say, he does this while blinfolded against a group of about a dozen, pretty fucking embarassing.
