YOUR questions for an interview

PC Games Germany is going to have an exclusive interview with CDPR... soon ;-D The PC Games staff asks the readers to tell them questions. What would ask the devs about TW2? They forward not all questions but just collect the most interesting ones.My question is already added :)Germans and everybody who know German can post their questions directly in the PC Games topic. All others ask their questions here. I will post it there in German. Please add where are you from (just country). Topics which already have been asked:# vendor DLCs available for DL after release?# How do you offer DLC apart from above DLC# How much explorable is the world (open world)?#How is the survey in rooms and will we have different perspectives?# How many sidequests? More than in TW1?# Tell us about the mod tool# Tell us about the companion feature# Can you keep the release date?PC Games news articleread the questions and add yours

1) MAY WE LEARN MORE ABOUT THE AI? with more words : Will the enemies be "smart enough"-trying to avoid hits and trying to block spells /signs/ , try to surround you or make an ambush ? Remember, in TW 1 even on hard enemies were too easy and just stand there hitting you once with a club/sword while you have already taken down half their hp2) Will there be MORE ENEMY types and monster types than in T w 1 ?

Why do you think house looting is out? I thought they said that the AI was going to be smarter so there would be consequences for stealing items, didn't think that meant they were getting rid of house looting altogether.

I remember reading in the faq some time ago: "house looting ends here!" or something like that. So I assumed it was gone, but I could be wrong. I would prefer if it was as you say.

I just got done reading the FAQ and that is why I remember the reference you are speaking of. It was after they were talking about improved AI for NPCs when they were saying that NPCs have a cycle now instead of just always being in the same spot. I'm assuming that since they mentioned the phrase "house looting stops here" while talking about AI in the game it means that the AI would react if they caught you looting. Of course this is only my assumption and have no way of knowing until a RED verifies.

We were told that NPCs are reacting now if player tries to rob a house while owner's watching - and that's exactly what's inside the FAQ :)

The phrase in your FAQ that says "house looting stops here" can be misleading. It can mean that house looting is no longer possible. But I think you put it as a quote in the FAQ to demonstrate that there will be consequences (player reacting as you said) to house looting.

"NPCs are (...) reacting to players current (...) actions (house robbing ends now!)"You seriously mean that it isn't clear? o_O

It's clear Szypek, I just haven't read the faq in a while. My bad. On a related note, if these forums had a better structure, the faq could be more prominently displayed.

It's still not clear to me.Will it be like Risen where you can get killed very easily if someone sees you or some other way?

I don't have an account at PC Games, Petra. I'll write my question here:Country: Italy- Is the beta-testing for TW2 expected?I mean, I hope CDPR is going to test and patch the game, before the release date.

We weren't told that. However, we know that "Geralt can't steal from sb's house in front of this person"

Great! Lots of interesting questions *thumbs up*I really would like to know how this theft / looting houses is managed. Do they send him into jail? Cioud be a handicap when Geralt is under timepressure. Or does he merely have to pay a fine? It will surely have consequences for this reputation and certain NPC avoid him or won't help him.btwI think I read somewhere that Geralt still can get odds and ends from barrles and chest which don't belong to somebody.

Maybe I'm slow witted but I don't understand solo playing? Single play? o_O

I think that he is talking about companions. And as far as I know, there will be some parts, when Geralt will take someone with him, but in majority he will work alone :)

I meant can we play without companions depending on which road we take, for example taking the road for Geralt to find out how he lost his memory.

@PetraIf you explained to me what does "to get odds and ends from barrles and chest which don't belong to somebody" mean, maybe I'd be able to help you with that :)@fchopinJust like it worked in TW1 - no friendly fire. (It was asked in "ask the dev team" thread on the polish part of the forum).
