Maybe because they said themself, we heard the community? Back to closed beta, back to Midwinter, back to Homecoming? I was once open minded, many were. But if we still got kicked in croch, why stay that way? They ignored (in the end with homecoming) the open minded community, made them sceptical and want now an open minded again? You are right in the point that many complains grow out of the history of gwent. If i imagine i would start with homecoming Gwent without knowing (closed) Beta i would say to myself: Well they tried, bye. But now I know the beta, i know it was better. And as far as i can clear my mind and put theses development aside, it still is worse and just not good.
Than you are as ignorant as you can be. I dont know how often someone said he want old Gwent back. So there is you goal: Redo Homecoming, start over with gwent as it was in beta, better pre-Midwinterpatch 2017. That is a clear message you can read in the thread nearly at every page. In any different threads about this topoc we had discussion how or how it is not possible to achieve that. Only because you just deny these wish doesnt mean it isnt there and clear formulated.

The echo was overwhelmingly not existance, because the problem isnt one mechanic they changes, its number of it. I think most people could live with 2 rows, 2 copies, provisions, ect, if it would be the only thing new implemented. But all together is a bumper. If you read the general Feedback-Thread about Homecoming, you see many, very detailed and clear formulated thoughts of what was liked and disliked.
Did it changed anything?
No. No answer from CDRed, no response at all, only PR-babbling. Sometimes i pity Bursza, because he is a shield target for all the blame and cant do anything about it. But for the communication i blame him, they try to sit out the storm and want to go away with it later. It seems the only language Creator understand is roughly a shitstorm about something, then we get the changes we ask about nicely and calm beforehand.
All problems CDRed or we have now are made out of CDRed politic of silence. We got nearly no infos about Homcoming. The one we got we disliked it beforehand the moment we got them (2 rows).
I dont know since when you are here activly in the forums but search for Homecoming reveal and read the posts there. And then dont ccome and say we have to make it clear, we made it very clear since the start of this.
