Zoltan Chivay Gwent Card problem

Ok when I played gvent tutorials my games always crash and must to skip this,dont know that cards is misable,because in every guide writte Zoltan Chivay get in random win,now im stuck and only that card missing to complete deck...Any chance to fix that ,put scolar back or made card obtainable in diffrent way?Please answer ,better say no, than nothing,than I know what to do,its really bad if need to play game again because first cards...

Same. Went through all random merchants to see if i could still get this card and to no avail. Please patch this, really crappy to be the only card missing after playing gwent for hours upon hours.

I was hoping that finally I would get the Zoltan card, but... Damn!


CD Projekt RED: I was a noob in gwent at the prologue! Everybody was. Why the f**k is the card from the prologue missable? The card from the tutorial? Are you kidding me?


Actually gwent is so good, but this missable cards are just HORRIBLE. I don't want to start a new game and ruin my current save because of the gwent cards.


I didn't finished the main story until now and I'm afraid to lose another card.

Come on, what so hard to say a single word? its not like your company will lose a single buck from this.

They might not be aware of the issue. Let's hope they will notice these posts and respond. There is a big chance they will patch this the way they did with other White Orchard cards and then again in 1.05 patch for PC with not being able to play Lambert or Dijkstra when progressing too much in the game.

What I'm wondering is why are all the Gwent guides stating that Zoltan is a card that can be obtained randomly? That's clearly not the case based on what you guys are saying. I'm missing 2 cards (Incl. Zoltan) excluding duplicates so I'm pretty bumped this bug exists as I won't be able to get the platinum after putting so many hours into the Gwent trophy.

CDRP - awesome job on the patches so far, and very much appreciate especially the patch 1.04 for the PS4 which fixed the XP bug and added the missing White Orchard cards to name a few. Please, PLEASE fix the Zoltan card bug with the next patch and make it a purchasable card or at least one to be obtained via random win.

A CD Projekt's staff member said the card SHOULD be located beneath Hanged Man's Tree's scholar's corpse. Thing is you will only find his book, therefore it's a bug. Which I clearly hope will be fixed as it's the only missable card I'm missing.

Not to mention that a lot of us couldn't play Gwent due to game crashes and thus decided to move on while waiting for the fix.

There was a thread in the main forum that a CDPR dev replied to and a save file has been sent for them to analyse it. It's bugged at the moment for PC/PS4 and XB1.

Sorry for double posting, just wanted to tell you that I was told by a developer that Zoltan Card will be at its place with one of the next patches. End of the story, I hope.

I've probably got all the gwent cards, The only one remaining is Zoltan chivay's card, I failed to defeat the scholar so I thought I'll defeat him later, and now I can't get that card neither I am getting any other card from merchants or blacksmiths, I hope they fix it coz I don't wanna collect all these cards again, Its so boring + spent hours, This trophy is keeping me away from Platinum :/

I've same Problem played with all Players in Velen, Novigraad and Skellige and at a point when I win the game, only coins is my price no cards. But not only Zoltan is missing

1x Impenetrable Fog 1x clear weather 1x Albrich and 1x Ballista Hanged Man's Tree and the merchant in White Orchard not helped In my Deck of northern Kingdoms I've 4x A Patch would be very nice poor F****ing Infantry
