Leisure Suit Larry compilation going now. Yeah, OK. No thanks. It was fun playing Leisure Suit Larry in the early 90s but these days? Meh.

Wonder if all their games are from the era of dinosaurs. I mean, I wouldn't mind some 2013 release for 75% off.

For those who missed it:

Jack Keane 2 was on sale with 100 copies at 60% off. This took over 4 hours due to lack of interest, meaning that the entire sale was held up by that single game. Over a hundred pages of the promo thread were solely about how that game was clogging things up, and a huge number of sarcastic (fake) reviews popped up about how the game was life-changing to the point where the game's rating went up a whole star. Eventually the Jack Keane 2 wikia page was flooded with goatse (if you don't already know what this is, don't google it) of both the normal and ASCII variety, as well as pornographic pictures of animated ponies and what appeared to be characters from Lion King.

It also kind of sucks that it's virtually impossible to get the free games in some places, turning the free game aspect into a "who has the fastest internet and/or a bot" contest. Just lots and lots of frustration in general. The whole sale wasn't thought out very well, especially when GOG's competitors offer similar sales without the time-consuming gimmicks.
