Three VERY curious side-details in the "Contract: The White Lady" quest which seemingly have NOTHING to do with it and are NEVER explained upon?!

+
.

I was just doing the Contract: White Lady quest, where you have to hunt down a NoonWraith --
-- right outside of Novigrad's walls, where the fields are.

The majority of the investigation happens around AND in an abandoned castle tower going by the name of "Drahim Castle".

Namely, you find 3 of the dead bodies right outside the tower, and the final body PLUS the blood trail leading to it inside the tower.

Also inside the tower, funnily, are 2 examinable objects, which seemingly have nothing to do with the quest.
Meanwhile, outside it, close to the victims of the mystery's bodies, is a 3rd such detail.

The above-elaborated trio constitutes these "Three VERY curious side-details" in the quest.

---

Now, on to their description and just WHAT makes them strange exactly...

========================================================================================================

1) The FIRST and most easily attempted to be explained (which does NOT equal "explained".) is the detail outside the tower.

In proximity to the murder site with the 3 bodies, coming in from the Novigrad-side of the map, you'll encounter this HUGE PUDDLE OF SINGED BLOOD:

Legend:
To the RIGHT is the huge puddle of singed blood.
To the LEFT, where the small campfire can be seen, are the 3 strewn bodies.
IN THE DISTANCE, there is the tower.

Now WHAT makes this detail interesting ??

If you interact with it, Geralt will remark:

.

G: Dried blood. Really old.
G: The singeing, on the other hand, is fresh... unnatural. Medallion vibrates near it.

.

You are led to believe that this is "evidence" that somehow ties in within the quest...

...except that... it doesn't appear to do so ??

First of all, NO MATTER at what stage within the quest you are,
the interaction with this object DOES NOT contribute to its progression at all !!
No "Aha! So... this must mean... " moment from Geralt.
No new quest log items.
No new "Points of interest" on the map associated with the quest.
Not counted as "evidence" in any way.

^ ...ALL THIS IS EVEN IF YOU HAVE NOT EVEN STARTED THE QUEST AT ALL !!!

Second, how and why is singed blood exactly relevant of ANYTHING to do with a Noonwraith quest... ?
Nothing to do with the wraith itself, and nothing to do with its victims either...
(or, at least, it's not explicitly mentioned anywhere)

Third, this detail is NOT mentioned at all --
-- in any prior or further interactions with either Geralt's monologue, or his conversations with the quest-giver.
In fact, it is not in the Beastiary / Quest Log either.

So what's going on here... ?

Possible explanation:
Given the site's proximity to that of the wannabe-wraith-hunters' (yes... THAT's what the dead men were while they were alive...) deaths,
...AND that the now-wraith was formerly a young lass who committed suicide, slashing her wrists out in the fields some time ago...
...it is possible that they tried some kind of... summoning ritual ?? ...
...that intended to bring her to them, via means of charring the site of her death ??

Something like that...

...EXCEPT THAT that still doesn't explain Geralt's "The blood's really old." comment.
The girl died maybe a few years back. Is that "really" old ??
And if she died MORE than just a few years back, how come there's still ANY blood remaining AT ALL ?!?

(P.S. on that point -- the blood CAN'T be from a wraith's victim because noonwraiths' don't injure their opponents -- they just HEAT them to death !!! :O )

========================================================================================================

2) The SECOND detail is inside the tower, and, more specifically -- on the floor of its roof, if that makes sense. Right on the top.

There, you'll find the floor tiles slightly discolored, presumably from scraping,
to produce an image that is a rough approximation of A SPIRAL:

Upon interaction, Geralt comments:

.

G: Strange. As if a whirlwind came through.

.

And then, unlike the previous described object, this one DOES contribute to the progress of the quest !!

...

* If you examine this image BEFORE you've investigated the dead bodies and the campfire,
Geralt will not conclude anything yet on his own, at least NOT in speech
However, the quest log WILL update here, urging you to examine the bodies at the site...
...even if you HAVE NOT yet found them !!
(i.e. the thus-far still un-checked "Look for the bodies of the White Lady's victims" will now become CHECKED, and you have to examine the bodies)

Additionally, in this scenario, Geralt will remark:

.

G: Oughta explore the tower.

.

...

* If you have already found and examined the bodies OUTSIDE the tower, (so, EXCLUDING THE ONE IN THE BASEMENT OF THE TOWER )
then examining this symbol will make Geralt conclude:

.

G: All signs point to a Noonwraith.

.

And then the quest will progress to the objective of having to "Talk to the widow about the noonwraith.".
(so you don't necessarily HAVE TO investigate that ONE extra body in the tower's basement.)

...

* If you have already found and examined ALL the bodies, INCLUDING THE ONE IN THE BASEMENT OF THE TOWER,
then both the "Investigate the murder scene" and "Explore the tower" objectives will be counted as "Completed",
and you will be urged to go talk to the contract-giver.
Additionally, the "Spiral image" will become UNAVAILABLE for examination !!!
It won't even be registered by your Witcher Senses !!!

Now WHAT makes this detail interesting ??

Well, for one, how exactly does this spiral image ("signs of a whirlwind" ?!) have anything to do with a NoonWraith and its activities ?? ...
...AND ON THE TOP OF THE TOWER TOO ?!?! (that's also pretty far already from the action scene's location...)

Second, it's the already mentioned detail that the symbol becomes UNEXAMINABLE under certain circumstances.
Why ??

Third, similarly to the puddle of "singed blood" from detail #1, this is NEVER mentioned in Geralt's further interactions with the quest.
No special lines to/from the quest-giver.
No Journal / Beastiary entry. etc.

So what's going on here... ?

========================================================================================================

3) The THIRD detail is a blood (maybe?) stain on a pillar found within the tower's ruined side-house exterior.

As seen from below, here it is:

NOTE, however, that this ... thing... is NOT examinable from THIS angle !! ...

...you've to get up on a brick outcropping outside the tower and look upon and examine the blood stain from there, from above it...
...And you don't climb to that outcropping... YOU FALL TO IT FROM THE TOWER'S TOP... (and in TWO fall stages too... )

Here:

Once in this location, you can examine the thing.
Geralt will kneel and simply look at it for 2-3 seconds, without saying anything.

Now WHAT makes this detail interesting ??

1) Geralt doesn't say anything when he examines it...
2) ...which can only happen from a very weird angle and location anyway. Like... Why did they even bother ?! o_O
3) The blood stains seem unremarkable, and are hardly noticeable at all! ... In fact...
...your witcher senses DON'T EVEN ILLUMINATE THEM !!!
4) Again... what could this detail... at THIS location... possibly have to do with A NOONWRAITH and/or its victims ?!
5) The "Magnifying glass" icon occasionally disappears for no reason, and then again... REappears for no reason !!! ..
6a) ...and when it DOES appear, it becomes visible from like... 10 (TEN) METERS or so... Example: icon's on the gate's wood frame
6b) ^ in the above image, I am like a good 7-8 meters away from the spot...
---- ...And there are like 3 (THREE) walls between me and the actual blood stain !!!
Just... why? :D
7) No, this blood stain doesn't have anything to do with the nearby-located Cat School Gear Scavenger Hunt treasure quest.

So what's going on here... ?

WHY IS THAT EVEN THERE ??!?

.

ALL OPINIONS AND QUESTIONS WELCOME !!! :)
