as the title says i've been experiencing frequent CTD in my recent playthrough. about 9 months ago i last played the game and did not experience any such problems. CTD happens almost always on the inventory screen and especially when swapping items. sometimes if the inventory screen does not crash, shortly after it is closed the game will crash.
