Gtx 970 stuttering on 60 fps

Got quite high and stable fps > 55 - 60- 70 most of the time, however gameplay is not fluid and looks like I would have 25 fps. If I put cap at 40 fps looks actually smoother than 60.
I have all on ultra, hair works off.

i actually noticed the same thing. it doesn't feel smooth, but nvidia says my fps are at 60+...

Yeah few days ago when I was running around novigrad 60 fps looked as it should do and then something got broken patch? drivers? And 60 looks like 25.

If you go to the Nvidia Control Panel and then go to the tab "Manage 3D Settings" and set Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames to 1 it should look alot smoother at 60 fps. http://forums.cdprojektred.com/thre...es-for-the-PC-version?highlight=micro+stutter This guide helped me alot as well.

I had same issue before(stable 45~50 FPS), but it's gone when I lock the FPS on 30 and fullscreen, hope it helps.

Im on 970 with hair works on and all on ultra except grass density and some other option i dont remember and the game is running as smooth as yennefer cheeks!

Make sure you don't run sweetfx or any other post processing software.
