GPU power draw dropping with Raytracing turned on

It's pretty simple why you'll see a Turing GPU do what you described: The game's normal pre-render > render pipeline (raster pipeline, or final output to a display) is waiting on results from the RT cores (and/or maybe Tensor cores if DLSS is involved). It's generally always the RT cores as...

Please Disable the forced TAA on PC

DX12 and DLSS (and even Vulkan for that matter) depend on TAA to even begin to look good. See also RDR2 and H:ZD with TAA disabled. The shimmer and shadow grain is real. They aren't graphics bugs, they are what low-level APIs like DX12 and Vulkan create and almost essentially need TAA in order...

    Installing cyberware should be cooler

It was already in the reveal that you could sit in the chair and pick what you wanted from the screen. What's disappointing for me is that none of the cyberware beyond arms changes anything on your character. Leg mods don't show as cool cyber calves and ankles when you equip them. Even...

Do you think the MP will turn into a cash cow for CDPR?

You'd probably be surprised what they *should be* able to do with $500+ million in profit. 13 million sales after refunds, times $60, and then multiplied by 0.7 (the bare minimum they make per copy, not even accounting for GOG sales at 100% profit or Epic Game Store sales at 88% profit), gives...

    Hotfix 1.06

I guess the next question then is why is that taking so long. OS and Game are on a 2TB PCIE 3.0 NVMe with 3200/1900 MB/s read/write speeds and my CPU is not even ramping up to workload frequencies at all. It's all barely being used. A WinRAR/7Zip extraction uses way more of my CPU and disk.

    Hotfix 1.06

I don't think it was an issue on consoles. All the cases I've seen reported were on PC.

    Low GPU usage

The problem with both GN and J2C (and Linus) is that they do not test out of date CPUs with modern GPUs (Like Wristed above's setup). Every video they do, they have access to 10900Ks or 5900Xs and then they test with those. They never show what kind of shitshow level of GPU bottleneck that you...

Car Music is mixed waaaay to low.

Trying to enjoy the radio stations, but the volume is mixed incredibly low compared to everything else. I have cranked my system sound, which has a 75W 2.1 speaker setup. It plays MP3 music excessively well. I then tried turning down all the other sounds in the Sound options: SFX is at 20%...

    Low GPU usage

Wait for the 1.05 fix to drop to PC. They got AMD on board to help with performance.

Why are pistols so overpowered ?

Yeah, I mean that's my point. I finished it at 22 and kind of felt sleighted that that was the end-game.

How big was hotfix 1.04 on pc?

You're not going to have much fun then in this current gen of gaming, Console or PC. I routinely see 100+GB of updates just logging into my Steam account. Just logged into UPlay and had a 46GB update for AC: Valhalla. To a 90 GB base game which I've already received 3x 10+ GB patches since...

First CDPR game I bought. I have zero hate. But why can I not change the F key to E and why is there zero support?

I know it's probably not what you want to hear but... I have to change E to F in a lot of games. F is my interact key in every game. E is my melee/quick melee key in every game. I won't ever change from using this config. I have to switch it around in a bunch of games that have fail bindings...

Will Cyberpunk 2077 be mod friendly?

Don't acknowledge people like this. We're supposed to ignore them, or they'll apply their weird lawyer talk to all our games.

Why are pistols so overpowered ?

To be fair, the game really only feels balanced to level 25-30 or so. You're really supposed to have passed the point of no return by then. Beyond that, you're becoming a god (with an even slightly well-thought out build), it's really just power creep IMO. The levels post-30, to me, feel like...
