By "we" you mean everyone? Because I never switch in third person if a first person is available (+1K hours in Starfield and never switched a single time in third person^^).

Beside, it's now "dead", the boat is sinked, the horse is dead... Better to give up and move on, there will never be a third person mode on Cyberpunk 2077 (you can still cross your fingers for the next game - Orion).
