How many new game+ can one do?

How many new game+ can one do?

I've already started a new game+ in a previously completed game. Is it possible to start a "new game++", and so forth? (once i finish the main quest in a new game+ save, can i use such a save to start another new game+)?

I don't believe so, I think you can only do a NG+ from a normal NG save. Your best bet is to try to look for a save file (or do it yourself) of a high level NG save to load into NG+

No, there is no NG++, NG+++ and so forth. Keep the save you started NG+ from around.

A shame, would be cool to have a NG++ with even more added difficulty.

Only one sadly. It would be great to be able to try different actions and consequences without having to go through the arse on of levelling and collecting equipment over and over again.
