The Witcher Enhanced Edition crash in front of the tower door

I am a beginner in playing the witcher but there is a problem. Already in the first minutes of playing. When entering the tower in Kaer Morhen, the game crashes and shuts down while loading. I've tried verifying the integrity of game files, creating shortcuts, downloading DirectX 11, compatibility for Windows 7, compatibility for Windows XP, reinstalling the game.
I don't know how to continue.
Do you know what it could be? Thanks for any answers.

First you can try going into the Documents\The Witcher\ right click on the Saves folder and uncheck Read only

Turn off cloud saves in GOG or Steam

If neither of those help then download DX Legacy Runtimes from here:

This doesn't change your current DX install it just adds some legacy stuff no longer included in the DX 12 runtimes. This game is DX9 just for the record. The reasoning behind the first two steps is that is where the game makes it's first autosave so it indicates you may be having a save problem
