Bug on Witcher Contract: Mysterious Tracks

I own the guidebook for this game and have watched videos, read other forums, and for whatever reason I'm not unlocking the Chort Lure.

I'm aware that it is under a new tab in the alchemy menu and I need to craft it, however it simply isn't there. I have reloaded saves before and during the questline, yet I cannot get this damn recipe to unlock. I heard that some people bought it, but the guidebook says it should unlock immediately once you are given the task to lure the Chort out. I have no clue how to fix this.

I also had this problem until i figured out i already had it!! I had gotten it in another quest so just had to find and equip it from my inventory...

Edit: Look carefully trough your quest items!
