Hey,
Just putting this out there since it seems to be coming up in a lot of different posts.
Sometimes weapons that are looted "Disappear" from inventory, many people think this is a bug, but to me this does not seem to be a bug. If you notice some weapons looted off of defeated enemies are shown as "Broken" in red letters if you scan them, when those weapons are looted, they are automatically disassembled and turned into crafting materials.
Maybe someone from CDPR can clarify, but this seems like a new mechanic that is working as intended. Anyway, like I said, instead of trying to get to each post calling this a bug I figured I'd drop some "Bold Text" and hopefully help spread the info around a bit.
EDIT, On second thought looking at some posts going around maybe this is not intended? maybe weapons should not break? but if it's a bug why would it grant materials? Little confused to exactly what's going on here. I'm like 90% sure this is intended, but looking around here maybe I'm confused and it is a bug?
