Feedback for cyberpunk 2.

+
Hey devs, you guys rock! But given all that we have seen from the first cyberpunk game, here is some feedback for the next version.

1. Let the world drive your stories and gigs. Not the other way around. I just toured the pacifica gim on a level 60 V. The place was abandoned, when it should have been full of animals gang members. Why? Because the animals were tied to the story, and when the story necessitated they die, they were not replaced. Leaving a ghost town. Many many other areas of cyberpunk are just like this. If the world drove the development instead of the story, the animals gang would still be there.

2. Have more interactive world quests. For example, night city has elections. Why can't we have a hand in who gets elected mayor of night city? And on that note, why are there not electoral cycles? Why isnt the election a thing that comes up once every idk... 6 months in game? Again, this is a world first development drive, not story first. However now that the world dictates there are elections, there are MANY stories that can be told about how those elections are worked. For example, would V be good and safeguard the election against someone trying to meddle? Or would he be evil, and say yes to a candidate who offered hima great deal of eddies to switch ballots up? And why are these quests not offered each election, with different quest outcomes determining which candidates come to power, and consequently what LAWS are enforced in NC? For example, a law and order candidate could make simple vehicle infractions a crime. We could see cops engaging civilians who get into car accidents! A pro gun rights candidate could result in all civilians in NC being armed and having extra hitpoints. There is so much to work with here.

3. Don't give the player stats as a reward for leveling up. Perk points? Yes. Attribute points? Yes, but they don't grant stats. The giving of stats for levels leads to power creep, and power creep is impossible to balance well. It is immersion breaking when V manages to solo maxtac repeatedly. Power creep is also anathema to multiplayer games of skill.

4. Don't enforce your physics with rules. For example, V can double jump. And yet, if he falls a certain distance he can't double jump again. Either remove double jump entirely or let players use it to save themselves from a fall death. Replace double jump with long jump or something. But don't have an arbitrary rule to enforce your game's physics. The physics should be able to handle themselves.

5. Keep up with the biting social commentary. You are killing it.

Some missions require stealth, driving skills... If V is not capable it would be nice if he/she could ask help from other NPC, for example from River. Then V would not be alone in dark cold world.

Next Intel processors are AI accelerated. It would be nice if AI is part of gaming, not just serving operating system. Dont need Copilot.
