More Cyberware Cosmetics in Character Creation Please!

+
When I am walking around on my level 60 V, I wonder why I can’t have the neat cybernetic implants that I see on NPCs. I see what the modding community has brought to their game on the PC. Unfortunately I don’t have a PC capable of running Cyberpunk. I play on my PS5. So no mods for me. But that doesn’t mean CDPR can’t make them as available options to unlock for character edits at the mirrors in the game. Of course I don’t think they should be available when creating a fresh character. I think they should be unlockable in the game as you progress. Once you unlock, or purchase them you can use them when editing your character at a mirror. Of course they would only be unlocked for that specific character.

I‘m sure it’s going to be a good while before the Cyberpunk sequel, so it would be nice to have some more cosmetic additions to add to character creation. I don’t think there are enough custom eye options either. Glowing cyber eyes would be neat too.

I've been wondering this for three years. Was very disappointing to find no new cosmetics with Phantom Liberty or the patches that followed, even stuff that's already in the game files.

Probably never happening at this point.

Why CDPR never allow us to create the V we want to see? Not everyone wants an average body shape V, some might want V to be petite or voluptuous. Some even like a heavy bottom and heavy top V! Plus! CDPR did not give us enough hair styles or piercings. I believe that could've done way better and I'm very disappointed! Now you are being pushed to get a good PC for the chance to make that happen. What about new underwear styles? I'm ust saying, more could've been done.

I hope this is something they do in Orion. What is you want your character to have a Jackie build, or an Animals build, even a Fingers build, Or Dex's build. That's about 4 different male build in the game outside to the standard male V. Same with female presenting V. I always thought it would be cool to run a V with a Clair build. What if someone wanted to do a Rhino style V?

Even one alternate build for each gender presentation would be a step up. I like being able to do that ion Baldur's Gate 3 or Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. On a similar tangent, some voice variation would be cool too. Wonderlands did a good job on that. It gave you som,e voices to choose from and then let you change the pitch of that voice, giving more variation. The only problem I could see with that is the character lines in Borderland games are minimal, and maybe scaling up to the amount required for a story would not hold up(?) IDK, speculating on that point.

I guess the different frames would each require different animations, as well as most of the clothing needing to be tweaked for each model. Hopefully we'll have more character customization for Orion, but I can't see us getting it for 2077 at this point.

A greater selection of piercings and tats does feel relatively easy to do, but again I doubt we'll get it at this point in 2077's life.

I'd like to address another cosmetics issue that's been bothering me (and looks like many others) from the release of the game.

ROLLED UP SLEEVES

It is pretty clear that every piece of cloth like jacket or shirt with long sleeves has two model types, rolled sleeve & unrolled sleeve. We can see that from the inventory menu, photo mode, or switching to third person when riding a bike.
I understand that every time V wears a cloth with long sleeves, it automatically becomes rolled up since there're 4 types of cyber arms we use during the game. However the game gives us a huge variety of different outfits we can make, and that's a shame that we have to always observe V's naked arms. What if I want my V to look like John Wick? Or make him/her look more like fully dressed biker?

If it is so hard for developers to let sleeves long without conflicting with model of a cyber arm, here is solution:
Keep long sleeves constantly ON. But whenever we switch to a Mantis blades, use Projectile Launch System, or Monowire V's sleeves can become rolled up for that AND ONLY THAT moment.
In that case it'd be possible to enjoy a better immersion without any conflicts on between visual textures.

By the way Gorilla Arms wouldn't even need rolled up sleeves.

baggy jeans would be a good fit in the game like early 2000s loose fit sorta

I couldn't agree more with this comment. For example, I want to have a fem V who can wear the same piercing as the V on the loading screen wears (the piercing is there, but in the wrong ear, so it doesn't show if you put her hair 01) or that her chest size were visible on her clothes.

You are so right, new cyber equipment should come so that they can talk, some of them are always the same, boring.

It's disappointing that we cannot add more customization. We're not asking for much. V is apparently a real phenomenon, and it would make sense for him/her to appear much more jacked with Cyberware than is currently the case. You can install all this cool hardware, but the appearance doesn't really change at all.

It's seems like the developers were also careful with nudity and sexual content in general. It's very Hollywood. You can decapitate and dismember people, but you can't show a blowjob? This is Night City, so it's quite disappointing that they didn't include more explicit sexual content and pornography.

Well.... for you all playing on PC... go crazy on mod! there is mods for almost anything, particular when it comes to looks/body types/tattoos/cybernetics and so on... now when Cyberpunk has become "stable" its even more rewarding dipping into the addiction of the modding community!
