Suggestion for patch: Visible health/stamina textures/animations on characters (so you can play without health/stamina bar).
Just throwing out this suggestion for perhaps the "enhanced" edition of TW3 down the road if there is one.
As a fan of minimal huds or context sensitive ones (IE things disappear when not needed) I love being able to play with as little HUD/UI as possible in games, I just rather watch the actual game and immerse myself in that then have other things on my screen.
One of the things I see talked about on various gaming forums in the W3 topics are the Health bars and the people wanting to turn them off. The issue is when in combat how you need to see these to get a general idea of how a fights going or how your health is.
There is a way around this though, and it's actually been done before in other games, with it's roots going back as far as Doom and other games, like Resident Evil.
A more comparable game however is Severance (aka Blade of Darkness). In this game when your character took damage it was visibly shown on their character model.Mainly with cuts/bruises. The lower your health the more damage and severity of it. From little cuts at first, to a huge "gash" appearing on their backs (Since that was the main area you could see) and other things. You could simply look at your character and you knew "I need health fast).
When your character was out of stamina they visibly looked tired, they were slow, they panted their breath and again, you easily knew you needed to take a break to regain stamina.
So why not do this for The Witcher 3? Even if it's something you can only do on Humanoid enemiesi (IE to save time and not have to do "stamina" animations for every-monster that doesn't use a humanoid body/rig).
It's not that complicated to do from a technical standpoint. You are simply applying a decal that is based on the health level. So you could have say "5" different decals at each 20% of health you are missing (IE one for 80, 60, 40, 20, etc). With each one worse then the previous to signify the health level. As the player takes damage (or enemy) the game simply applies these decals over the model of the character.
That would add a lot to the game for those of us that would like to play without health/stamina bars on our screens and I think it'd be a worthwhile thing to add in the future.
