Acquiring the Pit Bull assault rifle

+
Hey everyone, @SigilFey
After the 2.21 update on PS5, I’ve opened over a hundred airdrop caches, but I still haven’t found the Pit Bull, the black-and-red assault rifle. According to some sources, it should be obtainable from airdrops after looting Chesapeake, but even after following this method, I haven’t had any luck.

From what I’ve gathered, the Pit Bull still seems tied to online rewards, specifically Amazon Prime Gaming. However, there’s no official confirmation on whether its availability has changed with the latest patch.

Has anyone managed to get it in this version of the game?
If you have any confirmations or suggestions, let me know!

Hi,
I never try to get it myself, but from what I understood, chances are very, very low, even lower at end-game... Thing is that even by openning hundreds of air drops, it's not guaranty you will get it because it's "random".
So at some point, you "can" acquire Amazon Prime Rewards in air drops... if you're persistent and quite lucky :(
"With the release of Patch 2.1, weapons previously only obtainable through the Amazon Prime Gaming program were given a chance to drop from airdrops. Their drop chance is around 15% during early game, and 0.01% chance in late game."
