I found this guy with a katana in his body & when i follow the blood stains there is this guy who says some words and then dies & gave me a shard. anybody know what these two are part of ?

Might be a new easter egg, because I don't remember seeing these dudes before 2.0.

this was on the other guys body that didn't have the katana in him.

Yep, apparently it's a new "secret encounter" added in 2.1. Not sure if it's an actual easter egg or a simple "random" encounter
