I upgraded to 2.01 and Phantom Liberty and loaded up an old save. Because of all the changes in Cyberware, shortly after starting to play, I went to visit Vic. (I think you are advised to go to see a ripper in-game anyway?)
Anyway, when I went to see Vic, I decided to activate his minor (blue) conversation options just for old-time's sake. Unfortunately, doing this got me locked into that part of the conversation. I kept getting presented with the two blue sub-choices, but I never had the option to go back to the top level. I tried walking away and coming back, but the prompt I received was "continue conversation" which just took me back to the locked-in blue-only sub menu. I also tried saving and reloading a few times but this didn't help either. This effectively means you are locked out of Vic doing ripper work for you.
I "fixed" it by going back to an older save and then avoiding the blue conversation options when speaking to Vic.
