It was only at the end of the last Playthrough I actually used my Mantis Blades. I had preferred the katana for chopping heads off. I noticed that while my Katana was equipped and in hand, my Armor got a large bonus which I assume was due to the Slow and Steady Perk? But interestingly, when my Mantis Blades were equipped and out, that same bonus was not visible (in stats). Is the bug that I shouldn’t see the Armor bonus when in static mode (which would make it harder to determine if the Perk was *ever* active) or that Mantis Blades isn’t visible and possibly not working? How can you tell if the Perk is working or not, or how are you supposed to be able to tell?
Yeah it’s sad that certain perks or perks effects don’t have clear visual indicators like Bloodwell f.e. - it’s way harder to focus on the 20 cool perk than on 2nd Heart for the same effect.
In your case I guess mantis blades are bugged but not sure… if you really care you might use perkreroll fighting the same psycho/boss with & without the perk in question - looking if the numbers vary : /
