[Off-topic] Netflix's live action Avatar series

Hey,
check this out:

I think it's hard to reproduce any cartoon and not make it childish and laughable, but this absolutely nailed it.
It looks believable, has a great atmosphere, and the dialogues and actors look amazing.

Also, people in the comments mention it's one of the highest-budget series ever, so I am wondering if it will last

What do you think?

I'm in the minority, I didn't love ATLA and found the Aang plot armor a bit annoying so I saw it once and never again. I liked books in Korra more than I did in ATLA because there were actual consequences for her actions or poor decisions. Where this is concerned, I don't think animation needs live action so I feel this was a waste when they could have done a new animated story.

Am I going to watch it? Probably not...but I hope it's good for those who do.
