Suggestion: add simple slider in settings which would define maximum time between two presses of a same button for it to count as double tap. Minimum delay: 0.00 seconds (double tap disabled). Maximum time: 0.50 seconds. Step: 0.01 seconds.
PLEASE!!
Needed for keyboard settings, and if possible also for controllers. Changeable at any time and effective immediatelly once player changes the setting.
Because:
- good FPS players often unintentionally cause "dodge" with default double tap delay (which is especially bad while in stealth, as dodging breaks it!);
- beginner players often fail to press it fast enough to make a dodge they want to do;
- existing methods to fix the 1st problem are troublesome.
P.S. For further details, more detailed explanation of the problem, and indeed one of ways to (poorly) circumvent it: https://www.shacknews.com/cortex/ar...-how-to-disable-double-tap-to-dodge-on-the-pc .
