[BUG] System collapse quickhack does not function correctly

+
I have found out a couple of cases where system collapse doesn't KO an enemy.

1- Sometimes, especially when using it agianst elite targets (more rarely against normal enemies) they got staggered for 1s and then resume what they were doing before.

2- If the target is affected by bait, using system collapse on him does the same thing: stagger for 1s, bait deactivates, NPC walks back to its original location.
In this 2nd case bug frequency is 100% aka you can't lure enemies away and KO them with system collapse.

Quick hacks rarity is irrelevant apparently (tried with rare, epic, legendary and iconic versions of both). Also, I removed all intelligence tree perks before testing so I'm confident it's not perk-related. Maybe someone else could give it a try and see if they encounter it.
No netrunning or perks-affecting mods installed (this happened in 2.0 as well, with vanilla game).

Yup, happens regularly, even if the enemy is not affected by any quickhacks prior.

If you haven't already, I strongly recommend reporting it directly to Support because currently the bug is in some sort of weird limbo state where players are definitely experiencing this issue more and more, but Support believes this to be caused by 3rd party stuff even though people reporting this aren't using any mods whatsoever.

Hello there, thank you for your message.

I talked with the designer about it and we were not able to reproduce the issue you are having. It appears that either a debug command line or a mod is interfering in the process.

I recommend you to either load an earlier save or start a new playthrough.

I am pretty sure this has something to do with animations themselves, because for example Bait does not work on enemies that slap civlians.

Aaah, so it's not just with bait. Never tried with sonic shock since it's untraceable, never felt the need.

yup, I'm playing on PS5, experienced the same thing. I seemed to have happened while I was using Distract. I used it with sonic shock because (derp) I forgot all about system collapses already being untraceable.

Anyone willing to confirm whether System Collapse is now working properly?

I did some System Collapse mayhem to test it and so far it had a 100% trigger rate among 23 targets (both humans and droids), so it seems to be fixed. But would be helpful if others can confirm.

Have you tried to use bait quick hack first? That consistently triggered the bug. I'll test it myself as well next time I'm playing.
