[CONTEST] RED Holidays 2024

Holiday season is a time of traditions - traditional food, ornaments and... our contests!

This September marked the 20th anniversary of our community. We've spent countless hours together, discussing trailers, sneak peaks, quests and more. In Night City, we'd be called a gang. On the Continent, a band, or order.

What we need is a crest, a logo. And this is your task: design one representing our community and create a holiday ornament based on it. Then take a photo of your creation and show us what you came up with!

Rules:

• The contest starts today and ends on January 7th, 2025 23:59 CET.
• To participate in the contest, please submit photos of your entries as replies in designated threads on Forums (that means this one, right here) or as messages in designated Discord channels.
• Only the first entry will qualify for the prize.
• We will reward a total of 5 winners.
• The prize pool for the contest is shared between Forums and Discord, so it doesn't matter where you participate.
• Winners will be announced by end of January, 2025
• Full contest rules are in the PDF attachment.

Hello everyone!

Here's my proposal/idea.

At the center of everything CDP - CD Projekt. RED also appears here as a red "circle", which is us, the community, surrounding the creators of "magical" worlds. All this creates one complementary whole. All this under the name CDP CIRCLE.

There is no better holiday ornament for a gang/band/order/hanse than a chain. It's universal. It fits to Cyberpunk2077 and The Witcher universe, or many more others too. It connects every single member. It can be extended by new links/members. And it just looks cool.

In the photo there is ready ornament on my christmas tree, and some "work in progress" with my drawings below.

I admit, I thought for a while about the most accurate description of our community. We are a bit like a pack of wolves, but this term does not sound as good as the Polish version "Wataha". Another term that was on my mind was a hive. A center of life, a place where we can gather and live on a topic that is important to us. And here it is, RED HIVE with its logo. All in the form of a Christmas ball. A shape composed of polyhedra resembling a honeycomb. These honeycombs are filled with illustrations from the games that have united us so far. There are also a few empty ones, because we know that there must be room for what is yet to come
