Suddenly, I am taking a huge amount of increased damage. One or two bullets kill me instantly. On top of that, when successfully blocking or parrying in boxing matches, I still instantly die.
Have you checked the danger rating on the missions you're attempting? Some of them can be a decent little jump in difficulty.
