I just want to give praise to all devs who worked on cyberpunk

Hello,

I made an account only to post this message. I hope some of the devs will read it. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post it - its the only place I can make a thread.

I have been playing videogames since the early days of the SNES. There have been many masterpieces I have had the pleasure of playing throughout the years, but I can confidently say that Cyberpunk 2077 is the best game I have ever played. I would argue to anybody that it is the best game ever, full stop.

What this game has become is nothing short of a masterpiece. The artwork, the storytelling, the overall atmosphere - it's second to none.

It is also one of the only two games I ever played that made me feel very deep and complex emotions of beauty and sadness that you wouldn't usually experience in a videogame. To me, when a product illicits such feelings of true emotional depth, it indicates that a product surpasses mere "entertainment" and has entered into the realm of arts. The only other game to ever do that was RDR2 (which I consider the 2nd best game ever after CP2077).

Anyway, I just want to give praise to the devs at CDProjekt RED. You all got so much shit because of the launch state - and it was truly awful - but you made it more than right. You turned this thing into an artwork, and I want to give you all the recognition and acknowledgment.

Thank you for the extraordinary experience.

I would agree with this if not for poor development. Including technical issues as well as inconsistencies and multiple issues with the game that are clearly incomplete. Yes despite all this, the game is mostly functional, and certain aspects of the development team has done a superb job. However, from anybody who understands development, story editing, and effective software testing, it is very blatant that the game even to this day is incomplete and not ready for release. Despite already been released years ago. However, dirty devs have a common practice of knowingly releasing unfinished software that is in decent enough condition to sell. For the purpose of making loads of money. There is no software that does this more than video games. Most legitimate software developers would never release something until development is fully complete, and software considerably tested. Yet many AAA games = game not finished + not yet fully tested = release it anyway. Make loads and loads of money while continuing to develop it normally despite releasing it to the public without early access label. Followed by never fully completing it (with full testing) and abandoning development on it. While laughing their way to the bank. Same reality discussed in the game about coming to terms that you already died. It is a reality for this and many games that are released incomplete and never will get full legitimately completed development. Loads of aspects of this game that are incomplete along with still tons and tons of technical issues = a game that should still not be available to the public, despite already selling millions, only to never be legitimately completed.

I am not invalidating your experience as I feel mostly the same way. I still think it's extremely fun and don't regret buying it despite factually still incomplete development effectively early access. And I give praise to those on the development team doing their best. However, I will never give praise to unethical dirty developer practice like this. As no software should be released to the public (aside from early access) until fully completed and thoroughly tested.
