Newbee facing non-funny-break-game bug (Some spoilers inside? idk)

Hi there bollos!

I am trully sorry if this is common knowledge but I practice best restrain to avoid wasting others time being lazy.

I do not exactly if this question is on-topic for this forum or it's better on the Techy threading.

I bought the game this week, play deeply about +80 hours and it was great an amazing.

I ended premarturly the main story in about +20 hours, went again around +40, and then facing the no-so-cool-now bug that it's going to kill my gameplay in the near future:

While doing the 2nd Delamine quest, in the garage kids fighting dad (lol hope that was the correct name, sorry, yes I forgot to even play that after almost 40 hours, just me :) it's when everything went from bad to really downhill straight to a volcano. At the end of the mission the game asked you to go out, or go in the car or something I don't recall, you went out from the "neural center" and some off-screen voice talk saying something I can't remember, the cars are parked in two rows 4 by 4 and that's when I noticed something weird, only 7 cars and one slot empty.

Obviously my first though was not the empty place, but after 30 minutes parkuring my ass around the whole place trying to get in the "car" to finish the mission I decide that prolly that empty slot was ... something to notice. The last save game put my in around the half part of the mission, repeat, the voice did speak again and the empty slot was filled with my gift-from-heaven-cab.

That was not significant as-is, until I noticed that I cannot go into any vehicles. And it's not one, or two, or in any particular something, literally I cannot board any vehicle. My own fleet doesn't work and never came to me. And if that was is, I prolly resumed some check point and tried to avoid the part when everything felt apart. My big mistake was thinking that was funny and tried to workaround the issue hacking the mechanish in a hacking-biased game.

It was funny until doesn't. I am like 50 plus hours running, parkouring and V's feet callouses to the knee, because I prolly have some type of athritics in my fingers from running non-stop, and if you wonder how you can finish the races missions winning without a car (if you choose you own ride it doesn't spawn, and if you choose the other one you can't get into, but you can force the game to start the countdown and everyone in the startup line, you can destroy every car in a fashing blown-up-to-hell 3 seconds and run you whole race, I told ya' it was funny...)

My thing, I can't keep the progression and not even went to another ending and I can progress with some side missions like completing the cyberpsyco and tarot but it's not funny running anymore anywhere knowing that the game progression must be chopped two or three days ago and repeat the same very very weared now missions that I really enjoyed but I did not want to repeat just to move forward with other things I cannot play now.

My fun is dead and really I don't have my soul to bear another plus 40 hours (not for completing the game, but to research the other missions that I can't reach now). Knowing the well stablish modding community and some known fixes and workarounds for pretty well known bugs, I didn't manage to find a "patch" for PC or even come to someone close to my issue (not about doing 40 hours of running deep on your own grave to cry later in the forums but this particular not be able to use any vehicle).

I tried to killme, destroy me, smashme, and everything between. The car issue sometimes fix, I called my fleet and blown the shit up there to try to reboot some vehicle in Narnaia that is causing this, and nothing helps. I am facing the deadlock where I can't progress without doing my last 3 only avaible quest, and none of those can be played with an infinite "Do something" that I can't do because I can't board the vehicle.

Saw a few skip-mission blah bleh thing that prolly reset my doom-counter, but I really wanted to play the quest for the content not for the issue. I am not going to skip missions now to came to my actual point and progress in the game because I don't have the fun with me right now to put that work.

So, I tried to read everything in a hurry, tried everything come to my mind, some techy workarounds, but really my hope it's dropping this and wait a couple hours while I tried others ideas in-game, and if some kindly soul give me some feedback about the keywords that I don't know or point me in the correct direction/path about how the f ck stop my amusing self-inflicted-game-pain, that would be amazing.

(really hope that I missed the totally normal thing that is solvable and put on shame over the whole internet as the guy that never read the pinned threads -I did, I don't found my exact issue as-is, sorry!-. Long term I would drop the game until some fix come by or I forgot the pain and resume my inner parkourtuing better self and tried to finishing the rest of game that I would love to see and play (but currently pretty much in the go-to-youtube-and-see-a-gameplay-of-the-game-all-endings-included-4K-60fps).

Later and thank's for reading! May the bits be with you.

Sorry for the typos above, I usually edit those, prolly brain-deep-in-role with Vs slang, so I left as-is.I didn't see any affecting the tech facts around the problem and even if there were a bit off for the on-topic issue, I am just blowing a bit steam, so bear with me typos :)

Hi,
Ok, so to resume, at the end of the quest, you didn't get the car, get out Delamain HQ and since, you're unable to get into any car at all?
And I assume you don't have a save created before starting this quest?
Also, it's just cars? Everything else "works" fine, like accessing stash, talking to vendors,...?

First, worth to try a very simple "old-school" bug fixing trick which is to simply visit a joy-toy at Jig-Jig street.
If it doesn't work, maybe return into Delamain HQ to check if you really can't find the car and get in. Even after completing the quest, you should be able to enter in the building. At least by the trapdoor on the roof (at the opposite of the main entrance).

Hey there, first and foremost I can't really point the quest where started, just my best guess and I went in the delamine car after loading the save game about half way on that garage last quest but then just rode the breaking to find my crying now (it went from a glitch that I didn't notice but random can't do "thing" to started to broke the gameplay badly), around two or three hours after that first weird moment where I reloaded the mission that I mentioned because I literally tried every tube and corner of the scene and I can't believe that could not find the god-dammed-car to go in. In brief the first breaking gameplay I face was on Claire race, I did some then returned to the last one, chose my ride and it reseted the scenery, filled with cars and my good old 911 boy wasn't there and I cannot go in -obviously- running away dropped a failure and nice THANK B*TCH message from my ex-friend and made my close the game, reload and bleh blah, balls-deep made around those things thinking was funny. I even rode some missions that force you as copilot with a character driving, how? pretty much sure that you can't do it if not facing my bug, because I can jump on the hood and show my the go-in hint without .... go-in, so literally I ride on the hoods of some cars (if you think that I am crazy, try to understand why I made 40 hours running the map laughing to start to cry now... lol).

Everything I came by it's almost working as-is or little I know with this few hours, but yes, inventory, skills, everything (but the wardrobe, that I just avoid and it's pretty much non-relevant).

As I said it's not always, and doing some quest allowed my to call my vehicles or ride others (I only notice vehicles, any car in the street, even the remote controlly hack work fine, but the game never show the went-in or bring my fleet). When I manage to call my vehicles in a best-try call all of them I blown the whole thing together in an attempt to reset the cars (facing the new-delamine gift as culprit maybe) with no-solution. Eventually I am now without any path that allow my to complete any mission without boarding something and just dead-end street (As I said I cannot find myself doing the sidequest from the known-to-work-just-fine waypoint, it's 40 plus hours that I can't explain to my fingers right now).

I will try the Joy-Toy because it's good idea, and even if unblock one boarding and manage to keep my limping my gameeplay I am all in to finish the side quest and endings as this even if looks pain, I am ok with boredom workarounds, I can't bear starting the Delamine save point to find myself like this some hours later, because that will pretty much throw my game from my disk in the near future. I am really tried everything that come to my mind by know, and any old school trick is pretty welcome, as I said I can keep doing some CyberSights quest and finish the tarot cards, but I don't see why keep moving around fast travels (they work for now, and sucks when you are in the NOMAD camp with a kidney and the game said to wait to your jubilation in real life for a call and you can't call vehicles nor using the fast-travel terminal, facing your most important decision of your live, seat your ass and pray that the game understand the time as... a clock and not you getting away from the middle of the desert running for a road with a lot of vehicles that you can't use and keep running the whole forest-gump route for an hour and few ingame kilometers, yes, I run, I have like the shinobi skills maxed to the extend that I though I was in a parkour game, literally started to see me as Tony Hawk in early PSX days, just saying...)

I'm going to freshen my callous V feet now and move around a bit to see and maybe some other ideas came, thank's the lot.

By the way, funny and ironic that my first game chose was a NOMAD backstory to end up running the whole f cking deserts day and night, it's like... stupid ironic, futuristic cities, full-in cyberpunk vibes, to return to the Gaia NOMADs way roaming the whole planet by foot, pretty ironic...

Laters!
