Old AMD-CPUs and SSE4.x

+
I've tested CP2077 on my 13 years old "AMD PhenomII X4 BE"-CPU (4 cores @3.4ghz), which does not yet support Intels SSE4.x and noticed two problems:

1. Out of the box, the game does not launch. I had to replace the file 'bink2w64.dll' from the bin/x64 folder with a version which does not use SSE4.x. After that, the games launches and is playable.

2. When I throw a frag-grenade (and only this type of grenade) the game crashes about 3/5-times with the error:
Expression: EXCEPTION_ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION (0xC000001D)
Message: The thread tried to execute an invalid instruction.

I guess that error is SSE4.x related too.

Beside that, it performs surprisingly well on such an old CPU. Would be nice if SSE4.x could be made optional in the future.

Go to NexusMods and Download the "Cyber Engine Tweaks". It has a fix for the SSE4 issue on older CPU's. Its not 100%, but has helped many users. Also patch 1.06 was supposed to have some stability for the SSE4/Non-SSE4 users.
