Cyberpunk 2077 - Your Ideas For A Dream RPG

Fashion. Yes I’d like to maybe at some point put on a bullet proof vest to help out in a mission, but mostly I’d like to be able to interchange my wardrobes, and not have it effect my game play too terribly. Maybe some iteams you can buy help certain stats. A trench coat gives you the ability to conceal a larger weapon, a back pack allows you to carry extra gear, cargo pants allow you to carry more ammo, etc. All cool perks, but nothing that can drastically change the dynamic of the game. Then maybe have missions where you need to impress a corporate, and you have to do the mission in a suit and tie. Dress to impress. Oh and cyberpunks wear their sunglasses at night.

Just some random thoughts:

* I would love to join a underground organization. Something like the dark brotherhood in the elderscrolls game except instead of focusing on one type of criminal activity, they could have different sub factions you can join that specializes. Assassination, hacking, blackmail/extortion, organ/cyber harvesting, illegal experimentation, illegal mind hacking...etc.

* Similiar to above, would love to have a group that focuses on geek stuff you could join, something like the college of magic in ES where you join different groups for different paths. Ways to improve cyber gear, creating and working with A.I. robots, bio engineering...etc

Not cyber related, but in RPG's in general, I always wish you could use skills/abilities during conversations. We could do this a bit in the witcher, but I want it expanded with much more dialog and options. Like using skills deplomacy, threaten, seduce...etc. Also if we had magic, to use magic in dialog like mind or emotion manipulation, if your assassin to have an option to slip poison into their system while you talk. Maybe some cyberpunk equivalent like while you talk there is an option to hack their brains to alter memories or load a personality(similiar to doll house or ghost in the shell), control them like a puppet, or manipulate their cybernetics some way.

I'd like some sort of repeatable quests or like the radiant quests as long as they have some variation to them I like to sit there and just keep going back and forth gaining some sort of reward I know that it's not the funniest thing going back and forth but I enjoy it quite a bit for some reason.

- 3rd person perspective.
- Cover system.
- Plenty of optional side quests and other activities.
- Go wild creating "Afterlife?" Club. Perhaps two different clubs in the city with a bit different kind of music or types of people inside? high class and low class? techno/dubstep and metal/rock?
- Great hand to hand combat if possible (sleeping dogs counter system)
- Closed Beta for loyal supporters!
- Highly customizable character creator.
- Female role. (just like in ME series)
- Create many vehicle types! ..tuning?
- Some sort of NPC clothing and face generating script, so we rarely see same people on the street.
- Awesome Radio/music selection.
- Humor. (dark humor)
- Your own apartment, option to buy new properties perhaps?
- Awesome graphics!
- Smart enemy AI.
- Random AI behavior. Accidents on the roads, people fighting in the alley etc.

Thanks

all these seem like a must.

I m a big fan of Vampire the masquerade bloodlines game. Please give your upcoming game a dark atmosphere and sound/music like VTM . Also i would appreciate night clubs and strip clubs and make them kinda goth like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpqkgyKkhsY
If there are vampires in game even better :D
Also please focus in the singleplayer much more than the multiplayer aspect. I don t want shitty lesser humans ruining my immersion. Lots of witcher mentions and a few geralt/ciri quests would be appreciated also. Like Ciri travelling to Cyberpunk time or somehow Cyberpunk people travelling to the witcher world time/space. Especially if we could travel to a time before first game and help older witchers like Vesemir or young Geralt. Last but not least please give us true freedom of choice and make it a perfectly neutral perspective game. For example first witcher game gives you a choice between Scoiatel and Order of the Flaming Rose, but it is heavily biased towards non humans and siding with the Order makes it feel kinda unnatural even though for me it was a far better choice. Also in some points of witcher 1, 3 letting cannibals live was considered the bad choice and even Geralt himself heavily criticized it even though, both Gramps in Witcher 1 and the peasant couple in HoS didn t commit the murders themselves they just ate the corpses of the victim. For me hunting, torturing and killing poor animals is a far bigger crime than some dead humans being eaten.
One final thing please make melee/unarmed combat a viable choice. I m not a fun of shooting games, I prefer me trusty axe as the Scelligers say :)

Depending on which side you choose to be on, make it either Deus Ex Corporate shiny and smooth or Dark, Gritty and Dreadful.

Full implant and software system. Cyber Psychosis is a must have for the metalheadz and should impact gameplay. Customizable weapons and weapon enhancing implants. Vehicles, Vehicle implants and skills. The focus should be on customizability. As an extreme example, if i want a dildo replacing my hand to beat people to a pulp, then let me have it.

I have no doubt that this is in good hands seeing how you handled the Witcher games! Keep up the great work.

I think there should be a bit of both the shiny AND gritty, depending how far you stray from the corporate center.

I don't remember if I mentioned it before, but I would like to have the option of being able to print out a hard copy version of the character I created in the PC game and have a playable character for the (Hopefully) upcoming CP 2077 PNP game...complete with mugshot, bio and the whole rot. That would be EPIC! Any word on the PNP, if any, btw?

I’d like to have a Parkour System implemented through our skills similar to Watch Dogs 2 Stylish Parkour Gameplay.

It would be amazing to see the Night City has thugs npc doing Parkour around the streets. I feel like that would be a wet dream for people who like Stealth Games. Talking about Stealth Games I am not a fan of it but it must be part of the game. It should be geniune if not then similar to MGS 5 and I am fine with it.

Oh yea, good music is a must. None of the modern corporate made trash that we hear on the radio. Something good. Vampire the masquerade:Bloodlines really did have some amazing music.

I know the tech is not there yet, but its coming. What I really want is to replace voice actors (sorry VO actors!!!) with computer generated voices. The tech is really close, especially from google. What this would allow is freedom for devs to not worry about the limitations that VO brings. No more needing limit dialog, no more needing to rerecord if you change something, you could create as much dialog as you ant and change the dialog on the fly and the VO program could change with it. Maybe we could finally have custom names for our characters and have NPC's say it. We could also have our on customized VO so VO will FINALLY sound like how we want them too.

Having a radiant A.I. like system would be good. Generating more quests after we finish them off would be good. I also want NPC's to move around and do stuff, not be static with fixed movements, but be a bit random.

Something else, I want to befriend/date random NPC's, I want to actually talk to random NPC characters that have nothing to do with quests, missions or anything else. The same way we can go somewhere and try to get to know people. Sometimes people are not friendly, and other times a connection is made and they become friends or more. Let me talk about random things from my life, listen to them, and ask things about them and to influence them like people do. I do not want to feel like I am just going through a list, I want to actually make a difference. Go hang out, play some side games with NPC's, meet their friends/families, go fishing/other, go to gym..etc. Also on NPC's your interested in, maybe it can be more and you can date, maybe one night stands(there is a seduction skill for a reason), a friends with benefits, or something more. Of course, your stats and actions should affect how NPC's perceive you. NPC's have preferences and should treat you differently based on who you are. My dream game is for NPC's to be more than simply background objects, but individual entities that you can actually interact with. maybe not the level of the main and side characters, but more than simply a device to use, throw away and forget about.

This is likely going to seem like a no brainer, but, make sure people that have never stepped off into Cyberpunk can get a real feel for the game, what it's going to be like and how to get around in there. I have found a couple of friends being iffy about trying the game when it's released because they have no idea about the other versions of the game.
Also, if you plan on a real open world design, make sure there are many little secrets to uncover and many things to discover in the game. I like the feeling of finding something that takes me by surprise and making discoveries that can often be over looked by someone else that didn't pay attention.
Lastly, how many "locked doors" you come across in a game is what helps me decide if it's a real open world game, or a wanna be. From all I have read, this game will blow everything else away. I like the idea of a real and open world, and keeping with that idea, little shocking events are also something I would like to see in the game.

I would like to have a moveable house in the form of an armored van that has:
1.A bed that I can save/skip to night or day with.
2.A radio to listen to the various radio broadcasts. (both official and unofficial fly by night stations)
3.A scanner to help me determine if any enemies/synths/security cams are in the area.
4.Some sort of GPS.
5.A fold out platform kind of thing that I can park somewhere and relax and people watch/enjoy the city life.
6.A first aid supply crate.
7.Storage for my loot.
8.An air purifier to protect against enviromental dangers.
9.An air condensation harvester to harvest drinking water from the air.
10.Armor of course, to protect against the dangers of night city along with tires that dont need air and wont go flat.
11.Anti theft/auto turrets to protect against threats while I am in or away from my home on wheels.
12.A directional mic and telescope to pick up secrets from conversations being had from far away corp meetings.

I plan on my first character being a normal human without any mods who makes his living by scavenging and other opportunistic means. Most likely going to skip on the main quest for a long time at least to just do my own thing. Probably going to be a Nomad class. Having this moveable home would make sense. Driving through the most dangerous places of night city slowly at night as to not wake the residents, the streetlights shining through the slits of armor that cover my windshield and then hearing the bullets pinging off the side of the van before my autoturrets start firing back as I slam the gas pedal.

Other things people have mentioned would be great too. (I'd prefer to play in first person but can see why people like 3rd)
I would like for the game to be unforgiving and difficult. I don't want human bullet sponges. One bullet to the head for any human does them in no matter the level. Let the cyborgs or the sims be the bullet sponges with parts falling off as they still reach for your throat. If a human is high level let him have a king's protection with armored guards and shields. Let the city be alive with detail with lots of different npc conversations/interactions and minigames with a fully functioning in game internet that makes the grand theft auto one pale in comparison. The setting should have dark humor. The setting should be dark and grimey with trash all over the streets, prostitutes and gangmembers walking amongst the average citizens. High end strip clubs and low end dives to hang out in and drink. Strange food vendors selling cheap quick food that will talk to you about your problems. Guns and various ammo types (I prefer that all ammo be specific to each gun vs any ammo working in any gun or pistol ammo working with all pistols and shotgun ammo working with all shotguns I'd rather have different callibers to choose from.)

Dangerous areas should be DANGEROUS. No more areas that are talked up to be dangerous but any barely armed low level character could easily walk around like he owns the place such as New Vegas' Freeside area. I want the dangerous areas to be a place where I truly wish to avoid. I want them to have some sort of air of dreadful gossip about them. These areas should have their own economy with gang leaders requiring tolls and tributes of cigarettes and liquor shipments from the outside "civilization".

In game books and newspapers would be nice too.

As a long time player of the Shadowrun and Cyberpunk tabletop RPGs, there are a few core elements that I'd consider essentials to a good Cyberpunk setting and game. These are typically from my own experiences as a player and a GM for the tabletop, but most should translate to a videogame format with a little bit of work.

1) Factions do not always play well with each other, especially Megacorps.
If this is open world where you do jobs for different organizations and groups, the more a rival Megacorp sees one agent working on behalf of their rival, the more likely it will become 'cost effective' to remove that particular agent entirely. This problem also applies to rival criminal organizations, activist groups of various kinds, law enforcement agencies (to a degree, though it's a variant on the criminal faction system, and of course rival agents who see the player stealing their best jobs. It should be clear you cannot make EVERYONE happy, your choices matter and impact the world around you... which leads to point 2...

2) Everything has to have some impact on the world around the player and the player makes an impact on the world.
If a player blows up a building, it should stay blown up for awhile. If a player buys a ridiculous amount of cybertech all at once, the doctor should remember him vividly next time he comes in. There are a million nuances to this mindset but the game world should subtly change with different decisions, things the player can look at and say 'Oh yeah... I did that...' Things like player housing and decorating are an easy way of doing this, but little reminders in the world need to make the player feel they are having a real impact on the world. If they decide to graffiti a wall, it should stay that way for a long time unless there's a really good reason why it would vanish.

3) Connections can happen anywhere, with anyone.
To make the world feel more active, it's not enough to just have various questgivers that have neon arrows pointing at them saying 'I have something important to tell you'. Lore needs to be woven into the bartender's idle conversation about an angry couple, the prostitute's complaints about a certain John who works for the government, a cop's last name happening to be the same as some bodyguard for a crimelord. A city may have a million stories but the best stories are more like webs, where there are bits and pieces that overlap. Every NPC is a part of a grander puzzle, it's up to the player to figure out how those pieces fit.

I guess my focus for a great game is more on making a world that feels alive, dynamic rather than static, and responsive to a player's actions (and inactions). Some things will NOT wait for players to arrive and will happen whether they are there or not. I have faith in CD Projekt RED, but when I get the game I likely will be looking for these elements first. And it can't be soon enough.

I may repeat some ideas, but anyway:
- a comfortable house for tidy storing and browsing all the items (like Skyrim)
- if there is a shooting - the bullet holes on the victims should be displayed (permanently)
- damage zones on the opponents and an adequate reaction when you shot/punched one of them
- amount of a damage taken should affect the protagonist's appearance (bruises, cuts, scratches, dirt, wet cloth, holes)
- if the protagonist or NPC is stripped - he/she should be naked (completely)
- customisation of hairstyle, apartment design, weapon
- need to eat/ drink/ sleep/take a shower (why not?)
- sneak skills and ability to use them for obtaining crucial info, or simply for peeping on someone for fun
- if there is a law enforcement - the protagonist should cover the tracks leaving no evidence of his/her illegal actions
- adequate sexual scenes (not pornographic but hot)
- different types of missions and places: dark and scary, noisy and crowded, and typical ones too

Stuff that I would love to see included in the game...

1.NG+++++
2.Photo Mode
3.Dyes for Armor, Vehicles and Weapons
4.Open World without loading screen
5.Character Creation for customization
6.3rd person with 1st person option
7.Mod Friendly

For the CE... Please include the kneeling female cyborg statue.
Imho, she's already an icon for the game. ! WANT !
Thanks.

Please give us adjustable game controls <3 My best friend prefers to game with ESDF while I prefer to use the arrow pad for movement so games that let us set custom key binds are awesome. We prefer co-op video games so we can play together and we used to play Cyberpunk 2020 table top regularly so we are really looking forward to a video game that we can play co-op and team up in that world. <3 I feel most immersed and comfortable with first person perspective in games, while having the option to switch cameras to 3rd person I find useful for screenshots and such. I know my friend sometimes prefers to use 3rd person camera to play particularly when doing crowd control of an area. So select-able camera point of view would be really helpful for us to choose what we prefer. Please give us the options from from CP2020 character creation; to play a female or male character and choose what to look like and what fashion selections are the style for that character, Thank You So Very Much for making this game! <3

Want to put a few thoughts forward on when we add cybernetics to our characters.
When creating a character you get the option of adding low grade cybernetics to your character such as arms, eyes, etc before entering the game this, in my opinion, it enforces the games role playing element for those who prefer making backstories for there characters and those who like a certain play style.

In terms of cybernetic enhancements i hope to see that when a player upgrades his cybernetic to the max he doesnt just use that cybernetic for everything. Each cybernetic has to be good for its own aspect with its own limits such as a stealth piece will have little armour unlike a battle piece and vice versa so changing them will be necessary for different scenarios and i hope that we can add cybernetics to certain body parts aswell such as only the foot or just the hand, unlike only having the only choice to add it to the full arm or leg.
Also a system that allows us to modify only certain body parts such as adding, for example, a model 1 left arm, model 3 right foot, and thermal vision optic in the right eye, this might give players a mix and match option in game which can lead to interesting results.

Endless armor and clothing for my avatar, a massive character class tree/grid/skills/themes etc etc.

We want the Cyberpunk 2077 to be the best RPG possible. Feel free to share your ideas and features that you would like to see in our upcoming game.

We want to hear your input:)

- Make us explore areas before throwing quests, without making it feel forced or mentatory but also makes us feel good that we found it. A lot of makes make you either go running free in areas that you have no idea where things are expecting you to find magicly what they ask you too or they just simply tell you and make it kinda boring to do the whole "Go from point A to point B and gather then come back to point A" without learning anything. Maybe adding an electroning map that talks and gives you directions in the side of the street(others can be asking it too so if the player forgets what it does it can see random people asking it and giving them answers to verious parts of the town, you can also make it comment funnily in some areas), asking for directions, using phone maps.(People will get lost in a massive map) Also don't put the stupid "oh you follow a really slow AI character explaing the whole place" make it memorable.

- Don't make Co-op and online multiplayer forced, the whole bar and club idea sounds amazing ( you better make it big because alot of people will be playing the game ) forcing people to go with only people from their friendlist is a bad idea simply because they might not have friends playing the game or other reasons and being ableto just enter an area in the game where you can pick people up sounds really nice. Rather than telling someone playing alone the game that thats wrong try to find another way to engage them to find other people through the bar/club.

- Alot ot RPGs make the game so unfriendly when you first look at it with weird upgrades, ways of upgrades, weapons, whats best for each class. Instead of forcing me to google what is best for me just tell me in the game right when I create my character for online. Some people might not have 10 hours free to play the game every day.

- Don't make it pay to win.

- Don't make every costume in the game played with real life money. listen the game is going to cost me 70 euros or more, do not force me to throw more money for costumes. Make me spend more time getting them but don't make me throw my money for them or when I do make me feel like it was worth it don't make me spend 10 euros for a t-shirt with the word "deep" on it.

Thank you for listening to my ideas

Beep.

(EDIT) If you can make your own character on story that would be great, I don't know alot about what you are going to do and if you are going to tie online with story in a way were you can just go into a club, find a person, and pull them out with you for a mission while you have all the things you have o story mode because alot of games make you a beast on story mode with all the upgrades and then on online they throw you out there naked. Don't do that I want my hours spend on story to count too!!

Add VR support , doesnt have to be official or even fully playable in vr just basic support and not UI adaptation.
Point is , when we do our first playthrough i would love to just revisit locations and just experience it in VR.
Dying light did it , alien isolation did it YOU can do it to.
i will play it on my xbox and actually buy another copy later on steam just to go VR.

My hopes for Cyberpunk 2077 off the top of my head...

1:NG+ mode

2: armor and the cosmetic look of my character are not tied together.. if I find a jacket for example that I really like I´d like to keep it and not change it out simply because I need to follow my Level or armor rating. see games like The Division and the Tales series.

3: Please NO "rule of three" when it comes to weapons capacity or at least for the love of all things cyberpunk, let us equip our own weapon combos and not tie our hands with the standard Primary, Secondary and Melee slots.. meaning if I want a Handgun, Shotgun and swiftblade I should be able to and not have the weapons locked, simply because they are considered secondary weapons. just give us 3-4 weapon slots.

4: A proper damage balance. no bullet sponges please. headshots kills yes, or at least hits crit just don´t have us "waste" 3-4 clips shooting just ONE person, like say in Destiny or the Division, fun games sure but not very realistic when it come to damage output or how much one person should be able to carry..

5: Investigate quests where you look for clues both at crime scenes but also on you computer much like in the original Blade Runner.

6: minor cosmetic feature for your vehicle. i.e color of dashboard, maybe a bobblehead or dice hanging from ceiling.. color of the windshield or maybe the color of the exhaust from the thrusters

7: romanceable characters, see the mass effect series, just don´t make them damsels in distress... don´t mind a little reluctance or maybe shy but not the usual "oh you´re so nice, let go to bed together" just a little challenge would be nice (see Ves)

8: Takedowns, give us Takedowns or executions, lethal/non-lethal, whatever you want to call them... some of us do prefer the stealth approach.. that also includes silencers for the guns.

9: if headshots is a one hit kill then make it so only a few weapons can do so, like Sniper rifles, maybe have some cool looking cyberpunk version of a bow and arrow, or a boltgun for again those who want to remain silent.. just so one hit kill don´t become trivial..

10: No skill limit. if a player wants to max out his/her character, when it comes to skill or mods then let them.

11: a hub. hopefully this will come in the form of an apartment, where you can change your gear/looks... take NPC´s that need protection or bed them if you´d like. and ofc you can also change cosmetic items to the apartment/house.

Think thats about it.. maybe more will come but so far this is what I hope for.. at least some of it.
