Adam Smasher Boss Fight Crashing at the same point

Every single time I get to the point in the adam smasher fight where he launches missiles, the game crashes. I've tried reloading from many saves, even before part 3. I have validated game files and I have the latest drivers but nothing I can find will fix this. I cannot complete the game because of this.

1.) Are you using any mods, or have you ever used any in the past?

2.) Is this a new game, begun in 2.0 or later? Or is this a game carried over from earlier versions?

3.) Try loading further back in the campaign (before the quest itself appears in V's log) and playing again up to that point. See if the crash occurs again.

No mods, just got the game a few weeks ago after 2.0.

Definitely take a look at point 4, 5 and 6. Especially the thing with overlays.

You could also try changing the graphics settings during that part of the game in case a setting is triggering this problem...
