Bug after 1.6: Invicibility

+
The first issue I have is that I cannot die. Enemies will bring me down to 5 health, but it will not go lower. Secondly, the police do not seem to show up anymore, even antagonising officers do not have an effect. When I first played the update it worked fine, but suddenly all of this is occurring
I cannot figure out the cause. I have done a fresh install and removed all my mods.

EDIT: I managed to fix the police issue after verifying the game files

I have used mods with the savefile, however they have since been removed
Have you tested doing a new game too see if it happends on a new savefile? Might be a uninstalled mod that has messed something up or something in the way the game works has been changed so some value is out of wack. Its my best guess its somehow mod related tho or it would probably be more wide spread.

To be sure (which is annoying), you have to perform a clean reinstall and try on a new save
(mod datas can remain in save files, so even removing/disabling mods, issues can persist if you load a save in which mods were enabled).
Clean install :
1. Backup your save files. (saves are located here: %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\)
2. Disable Steam Cloud for Cyberpunk 2077
3. Uninstall Cyberpunk 2077
4. Go to your Steam directory and see if there is a Cyberpunk 2077 folder, if so, remove it.
5. Remove:
Cyberpunk 2077 folder from here: %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\
REDEngine folder from here %userprofile%\AppData\Local\
CD Projekt Red folder from here: %userprofile%\AppData\Local
6. Restart your PC
7. Install Cyberpunk 2077 again, on SSD for the best performance,
If you will be installing the game on the same partition as you have the Operating System installed to ensure that the game won't be blocked by Windows permissions settings make sure to install it on the drive root and not nested in some folders. Example path after installation: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077
8. Run the game and see if it works.
9. If it's fixed, copy your save files to the newly created Cyberpunk 2077 folder in the location from step #1.
10. Re-enable Steam Cloud if you want.

Yep, it works fine on the new game but is broken on my main save file. Is there a way to fix it?

I will give this a try if all else fails, thank you for posting the steps to do so

I supposed that you already did it but I posted it anyway, in case of someone who encounter the same issue visit your thread and don't know :)

And if it's in the save file iteself, if there is a solution, unfortunately I don't know it.
Just a guess, maybe with a save editor, but you'll have to know what cause the issue (false or corrupted value) and then if the editor allow you to change it :(

If a clean install doesn't work, you can try cleaning the save but it can be quite difficult and will require mods to clean the mods.

First you would have to figure out which mod is the culprit. Most likely it's some combat balance/overhaul. From there you can try figuring out which values it affects either through CET or through the mod's files itself and then revert those back again through CET and it's various dependent mods/framework. You can also try redownloading the mod, applying the mod to your save and removing it again in the hopes that this time the game reverts back to it's normal values but that's highly unlikely if it didn't the first time.

It's a bit of a shit show trying to clean a save. You could spend days trying to clean it all up and not get the desired results and there is no telling what other values/variables were affected that you haven't found yet.

A clean reinstall did not seem to work, I might try cleaning the save

FIXED IT:
I went on the Cyberpunk 2077 Modding Discord and asked for some help, and a user by the name of Arsenic_Touch helped me out
He instructed me to install the following mod:
https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/779
After that, he told me to enable God Mode and then disable it, and it worked like a charm
