Can I mod in a new pistol?

I'm wanting to mod in a new unique pistol with a custom model I have, is it realistic to be able to do this?

I've asked on a couple of modding discords already a few times but didn't get any reponses, which leads me to believe nobody really knows if its possible.
I'd appreciate any help or advice, cheers!

and a sample video to guide you

but to modify a .mesh i havent find the soluce!
