Crafting specs for weapon mods in 2.0

Do crafting specs for weapon mods exist in 2.0 or is it just having to buy or loot them and then combine into higher end mods?

I believe there is none, or atleast I didn't saw anything needed for that. But you will be either buying parts (I didn't saw any on merchants yet) or scraping all the things you will happen to see sadly.

I only have the most basic ones available, but zero above that rarity. Unfortunate, was hoping that they'd make something interesting with crafting.

Yeah afaik there's no crafting parts involved with weapon mods. What I've done with my max level character is buy rare ones, 2 rares turn into epic one in crafting. Two epics turn into legendary. My character has no crafting specs for mods nor can I find any on sale with vendors.
