Cyberpunk 2077 unplayable for me since patch 2.0 flatlines every time after I launch

I have tried the following: updating my GPU drivers, re-installed the game (twice-1 clean install) and verifying game files on steam.

My PC has recommended settings and I previously had 250+ hours in the game. I am at a standstill.

It keeps flatlining for me after the initial sign in through the pop-up . I can't access the main screen. It flatlines before that.

This is what worked for me. Set your game to Compatibility Mode: Windows 7.
