Immersion Comparison

The lack of immersion is indeed disappointing, to say the least... I am not sure they can fix it, but hope they will improve it at some point.

the immersiveness of RDR2 is incredible.

Many say "you cant compare CP 2077 to RDR2 because of different time periods" or something like that, but we can compare immersion very much.

Cyberpunk is nowhere near RDR2 in terms of immersion and its really sad.

Again, air your grievances all you want, but don't try to spew fiction as fact.

As someone who spent hours reloading the game and selecting different dialogue options and decisions with literally no effect.
And if you don't believe me then check out all the articles about how 95% of the in game decisions dont impact the game world.

Either you do the quest and trigger a script.
Or you dont and dont trigger it and get the most basic ending outcome.

Behold! The next generation of RPGs! In 2010...
If you are worried about spewing fantasy you should consider your own facts first.

The big problems with the story decisions being irrelevant. All quests both main and side quests being incredibly short and their conclusions not mattering to the end game (besides if you did them or not) are not things you can fix.
This stuff is irreversible unless they scrap everything start over.

This game is a complete and utter disaster. The more I think about it anything they try to add is like using bandaid and shoelaces to keep a collapsing building from falling.

Good lord what a failure. Their track record could go to hell honestly, they will never recover from this.

I actually enjoyed the story, but i agree with you that the main story was fairly short, and although there are 6 or 7 different endings, they’re mostly decided in the choices during the last missions. However, to say they’ll never recover from it seems a bit dramatic. It could definately improve the players agency in story in terms of future expansions. An example of this for me would be the Skyrim DLC. although i have hundreds of hours, i’ve never once fully completed the main Skyrim story, as i don’t really care about it, but Dawnguard was an amazing expansion and i played through that story multiple times to completion. Now I understand that they’re different games, but i don’t think that a comparison is too far of a stretch. On a side note though, if you truly believe this game is a hopeless mess, i’m curious as to why you’re wasting your time on the forums, instead of playing a game or spending your time on something that you actually enjoy?

Once again,

Air your grievances all you want, but don't spew fiction as fact.

What have I said is wrong?
There are tons of data backing up what I am saying.
There are people making hour long documentaries about it or articles in hundreds of words.

All you got nuhhun not true.

We're talking about a company that made up the "glorious" fixer mechanic.
My favorite thing is how the fixer is always like come and see them, and you go see them and its the same dialogue as calling them...

No it isn't.

Air your grievences as much as you want, but 2077 is far more of an RPG than RDR2, because RDR2 never was and was never trying to be an RPG.
sure thing bud, you come across as major CDPR fan boy

Damn near everything that comes out of your mouth is fiction.

And the funny thing is, is that it doesn't need to be. You have plenty to be upset over, but your rage at what this game is versus what CDPR said this game will be has morphed damn near every post you have made on this forum into an opinion filled rant laced with as much negativity as possible. All you have to do is provide factual statements and it wouldn't be a problem. Instead you inject your and other opinions into everything and hold it up as fact. Stop it. You don't need to do that. There's plenty to be justifiably upset about.

I have provided factual statements.

Still waiting for you to address them

Good illustration how underdeveloped everything in CP77 outside the story-heavy and cinematic stuff. RDR2 provides significantly more reactive environment. There's just no meat to side activities in CP77. Almost non-existent. I remember someone asking CDPR on December meeting that they probably will be supporting the game for the next 2-3 years, so I hope it happens.

Well i have said before rdr2 my favourite game, and i have said examples from there could use here to. Tbh i expected a night city equilavent not a looter shooter to me how it is now doesnt do the game world justice.

Said before remove health stims/food and drink from world and have mats instead, each npc drops 1 item only to stop spam looting overload, have ur gametime is breaking down junk.
Barbers/tattoes/ ripperdocs should be useable for proper biz.
Each cafe should sell a stamina ornhealth buff that lasts 12 hrs ingame.
Mini games like poker, fishing, you can do a litttle session while cookong ur tea ,all creates immersion in the game world.

Either its a open world immersion like rdr2 or heck even ac odyssey or its a looter shooter as is now which is a shame cuz lore and game world deserves better

Yes, this is great.

They don't even say something like: "V, my glorious business partner! Here, have a cup of Yorkshire tea with me. Do you want some biscuits?"

A great fixer is Muamar "El Capitan" Reyes (the guy that looks like "Spock" - Star Trek, but have long hair in the back) that tells V something like: "I don't care for the word 'biz'. I call it hard work, honest work, and I can't complain!".

But if you pay him a visit, the "remarkable hard worker" is smoking and looking at the road, doing nothing, all day long.

Regina is always looking at the window, looking for V, so she can call the player. She need more friends.
