Johnny Laughter

I'm not sure how to explain this, and if this was ever in the game because the first time I saw it was a few hours ago, but as I was killing some dudes, I got a random buff with the Samurai icon at the top, screen went slightly red, and you can hear Johnny laughing in the background as you shoot/kill people.

So, two questions: is this new?

And if not or yes, anyone know what does the buff do/give exactly?

And sorry, I got caught so off-guard by it (and was in the middle of murdering) that it didn't occur to me to screenshot the damn thing.

If this info is necessary: I haven't gotten a single point into the Relic Tree yet. (Didn't even go to Dogtown yet, being more precise.)

It is the Edgerunner perk in the Tech tree.

Though I am pretty sure it is Vincent who is laughing, because for Valerie the laughing voice is female.

I'm playing as Valerie, but I could disctinctly hear both Johnny and V laughing during that.

Also, pretty weird that that perk has the Samurai symbol for it's buff. On such a low activation chance, it explains why it took me so long to see it.

But at least it makes some sense about what happened, thanks mate.
