Malorian Arms 3516 needs a buff

As the title indicates, Johnny's signature gun was quite good before the 2.0 update and it can perform really well against other options but after the update the damage and the bonuses for this gun are laughable to say the least, the recoil is quite a lot when you aim downsights and since we cannot use any mods or attachements the least it can get is a slight buff in crit damage.

If we look at all the Overture Malorian guns most of them stomp on the 3516 all day, hell even the Metel variants are better. Please CDPR can you give some love to this gun?

Guess it was too hard to give it piercing without making it work with the tech perks? Would that have been such a bad thing I wonder?

Could have just not given it a charge up, or made the charge timing impossible for bolt shots. No mention of changing quick melee to not dump a full clip either.

Buff is somewhat decent, but I don't get why they took the Borg aspect from the weapon. Unlike say Prejudice, the Malorian has its Borg capabilities bount in lore.

Just return the Borg aspect of the gun, idk why this is such a bad thing.

I can think of a middle ground that could satisfy everyone. If Projekt doesn't want the Malorian to have access to the tech weapon tree, because they would consider it too powerful, instead they could add a mod similar to the Breakthrough rifle:

This rifle's unique mods allow rounds to penetrate through walls without being charged, after which they can ricochet multiple times.

It could pass through obstacles without needing the tech weapons' ability to charge, and the resulting damage would be applied to everything related to Power's guns. Best of all, on paper, the gun would regain its status as a Borg weapon and those of us who liked the gun for going through walls would be satisfied.
