i don't undestand what going on with ray tracing features on this game since 1.6 , more issues with 1.6.1
my setup
i7 10750h RTX 2060 mobile 16 Go ram DDR4 2993Mhz ( dual channel ) , SSD Nmve 2.0
windows 10 Familly build 19044 ( last build )
Ndvia drivers : 526.86
DX 12
1080p
setting graphics base in game
just the setup from digital foundry ( Lod on hight , SSR hight )
crowd density ; medium
texture quaiity ; hight
dlss quality , sharpness 0.25
eta cyberpunk 2077 1.5
without RT , 45/50 fps in game
bunchmark ,
- low fps 25/30
- average 60/65
- max 80/90
with RT on ( average fps 40 ) , reflexion on lighting medium
in game no major issues for fps but some constanly lag ( input lag )
since cybperpunk 1.6.1
without RT , mostly 60/70 fps in game
bunchmark
- low fps 45/50
- average fps 70/80
- max fps 110/120
with RT on ( average 45 )
getting no more input lag , but time game running at 20/25 fps for long time , like as freezing or heavy suttering . it happens at random time after 1h/2h
to fix it , i turn off dlss , change my sreen resolution to 900p , apply , and enable again dlss and set mt resolution to 1080p
game having no issues with RT off
i've already
- clean install
- clean cache
- clean install driver with DDU
( to check if its a mods conflict issues , done all test without Redmod , any mods with a clean install on GoG )
the game steel looks greats without RT , but when you played a long time with RT on , its a bit annoying to n'joy the game like as before .
ps : done all tests without windows defender , any overlay GoG , cloud save , any third party software overlay
ps2 : no tweak on ndvia panel other pick RTX 2060 GPU , no tweak on power management CPU/GPU
( run the game as adminstrator , enable windows performance gaming for this game )
changing crowd density , SSR , texture quality , Dlss on performance , don't change anything , steel getting issues with heavy drop fps
