Queen of the Highway end scene crashing

I can't seem to progress the game without it crashing on me. I finish the quest and we go to the bar, Panam offers the drink and I turn her down. When the relic malfunctions the screen goes black but then the game crashes.

I've tried some fixes I've seen online aka locking my FPS to 60, leaving the area and traveling to diff parts of the city to reload the area, turned all my settings to low. I also verified my game files on Steam multiple times. I really want to play but it won't let me. Any help?

I'm gonna assume you romanced Panam and have a few mods on, due to how new 2.0 is, not all mods function properly yet, even if they say they are 2.0 compatible. Uninstall all your mods, run the quest and see if it still crashes, if not, there's your answer.
If you're using a fem character and have the panam for femV mod, that one will work, i've tested it. Just be sure to remove other stuff, once you get through that scene put your other mods back on.

That can’t be it. I’m having the same problem but my game is vanilla and I’ve never used mods

I did have mods and what @ReignEdaze said worked. Was able to move past it and for every issue I've encountered I just disabled (purged if using modmanager) to fix the issue. I appreciate Reign's help and I hope other who have this issue are able to resolve it.

If you downloaded the game on steam, remember to try and verify the game files. Always helps when you can't think of anything else.

For me, it keep crashing while learning to drive the panzer, even on 1.63. Never found a solution and removing mods didn't help either. :/

Same here. Removed cyber_tweaks but it crashes anyway. It's the only mod I had.

Same, patch 2.1 doesn't solve that problem. CD come on. Please fix it. 2 ending are blocked because of that.
p.s. No mods, reinstall game twice already.

Same here, I had some mods, but I uninstalled them. Then I deleted all the game files and reinstalled the game, updated GPU drivers, done all the Windows updates, but I still have the same crash when the relic malfunction happens. I'm attaching the crash log:

Crashing at the same point . The game is currently unplayable because I can't progress past the 'relic malfunction' scene. Crashes 100% of the time. I would have to go back several hours of playtime, which I am not really willing to do right now.

It seems that pathc 2.02 fixed the issue. I managed to compelte the mission without any crashes (though I had to to do a clean install because some mods f'd my install)

Yeah, so had to uninstall the game and then delete the install folder manually. Reinstalled after and the crashes stopped.
