Skippy Blocked Since Patch 1.6 - now Level 47

Since I have downloaded patch 1.6 Skippy has a level requirement of 47 and I am level 42 so cant use it. Is this supposed to happen?

Nope, when you pick up it the first, it should be set at your own level. But since 1.5, it does no longer follow the character level, so you have to upgrade it as all the other items.
Do you use (or used) mods ?
