Sly Seductress - bonded without bonded?

So here is what happened today.
I played against SY (obviously - and yes before you ask, they had Savolla and won the game) and they played passiflora. They then continued to play Adriano to spawn two Sly Seductresses. Bonded triggered. I killed a Sly Seductress with Coated Weapons. There was clearly only one Seductress left, however she continued to self buff when I played a minion.

Working as intended???

Read the description.
They buff for every UNIT that opponent plays, but with bonded they buff for every CARD that opponent plays.
