Has anyone besides me noticed the disgusting anti-synergy of smart sniper rifles and sniper skills from cool?
I'll give you a few examples:
1) First, I'll talk about the mechanics of 'focus'
This mechanic gives you a 'focus' buff for a short time while aiming, this works great with weapons that instantly hit the target.
And it works disgustingly with ashura - with smart weapons you want to stop aiming after the shot, the bullet will find the target on its own. BUT the effects disappear if you stop aiming.
This problem is easy to check with 'nerves of tungesten steel' talent, as long as you keep aiming - the bullet will always cause yellow crit. If you remove the scope after the shot, but before hitting the target - there will be no yellow crit.
2) Another problem is related to the 'deep breath' talent. This talent slows down time while aiming and for some reason this talent also slows down the aiming of smart weapons LOL. Check by putting sandevistan and trying to aim smart weapons with and without it.
It feels like the game designer didn't think about integrating the new mechanics correctly at all.
